2016 Digest:   Hamstring injuries wiped out the middle part of his 2015 season and he only just got back in time for the finals. Has been on a slightly modified program due to minor calf problem. Coaches are mindful not to rush him.

2016 NAB Cup:   Calf problems led to modified program. May be a week away from starting in NEAFL.

2016 Season

Played for : Sydney Swans

1 Played in NEAFL trial against UWS Giants.
2 NEAFL Got through game unscathed and collected 21 possessions. -
3 GWS Tried hard across half forward and lifted when the game was on the line in the final term. 5
4 Adel Two goals in the first term but barely sighted after quarter time. 5
5 WCE In everything in third term and a major part of win. 6
6 Bris Made his presence felt in attack, sharking two goals. 6
7 Ess Didn’t hurt the Bombers across half forward. 3

9 Haw Back-to-back goals in second term set the tone at a crucial time. 6
10 NM Just one goal but got to the base of the contests well and lively with his movement. 5
11 GCS Made sure when the ball was in his vicinity it was a contest. 5

20 NEAFL Won a lot of his own ball, but ball use was poor. 10 inside-50s, seven clearances. -

22 NM Strong contributor despite modest stats. Forward pressure a highlight with eight tackles. 6
23 Rich Made the most of his chances with 5.0. Also had a game-high eight inside-50s. 7
QF GWS Quiet first half but kicked a third-term goal. Overall lacked impact. Position will come under threat. 3
SF Adel Veteran small man took his chances in front of goal and tackled well in front half. Played part. 7
PF Geel Brilliant start with instant goal and his pace worried Cats at times. 5
GF WB Last game? Gave his all but could not win enough ball to change momentum. 3

2015 Season

1 Hamstring.
2 NEAFL Got through OK with 20 touches after hamstring issue. -
3 GWS Chimed in with a goal but yet to find his best form. Quiet fir long periods. 4
4 Frem A quiet night with only 10 disposals. 4
5 NEAFL Got a bit of the ball but didn’t star as you would expect. -
6 Melb Got into dangerous positions forward of centre, particularly in first half. 6
7 Geel Ran with Selwood at times and good in that role. Dangerous forward of centre. 7
8 Haw Tagged Mitchell early but got hammered. Two goals handy in context of game. 5
9 Carl Celebrated game 150 with two goals from limited chances. Played a role. 6

2014 Season

1 GWS Always in and under and also snagged a couple of goals. 6
2 Coll A little wasteful in front of goal, it was otherwise an excellent effort. 7
3 Adel Laid 10 tackles while having the run-with role on Dangerfield. 6
4 NM Got the better of his duel with Harvey. 7
5 Frem Twelve tackles, 10 marks, two goals – nearing career-best form. 8
6 Melb N. Jones had his measure until shadow relinquished and he got into game. 5
7 Bris Used the ball well and great in the clinches. 6
8 Haw Good early then went out of game but bounced back in final with six touches. 6

11 Geel Laid 11 tackles and put Mackie out of business with an accidental knee. 7
12 GCS Ball use was very good and buzzed about. Copped a heavy hit in the final term. 6

2013 Season

1 GWS Kicked two second-half goals and his workrate all day was first class. 5
2 GCS On a mission this season, with1.3 in front of goal his only blemish. 5
3 NM Potent little power-pack finished with three goals. 7
4 Geel Industrious first half but deflated by two soft 50s against him for Cat goals. 5
5 StK Slowish start but came into it against good opponent in Dempster. 6
6 Bris Just the seven touches before being subbed off. Subdued. 3
7 Haw Not a lot of ground level chances for him but he kept himself in the game. 7
8 Frem He has kicked at least one goal every week to provide some valuable scoring punch. 6
9 Coll Clarke couldn’t contain him early. Tackled with usual tenacity. 7
10 Ess Effective hard worker in the clinches. 5
11 Adel Kept in tight check by Smith but kicked three goals. 4
13 Port Another senior Swan who couldn’t work his way into the game. 3
14 Carl Provided the Swans with an avenue to goal when they appeared stuck. Good effort. 7
15 Melb Well held by Terlich and couldn’t get into the game. No goals. 3
16 GWS Clashed with Scully early and kicked two goals before subbed with a leg issue. 5

1 GWS Kicked a goal but generally was pretty quiet given the side’s dominance. 4
2 Frem Flashed in and out of play, but was quiet over the second half. 4
3 Port Struggled to get into the game and was subbed out with an ankle injury. 3
4 NM Returned to form with a vengeance with three goals. Busy around packs. 6
5 Haw Rolled his ankle in third quarter but came back. 4
6 Adel Had little impact and why try a “banana” with little angle for goal? 3
7 Rich Very quiet. Kicked a good goal but had little influence on the game. 3
8 Melb Returned to form with strong performance and kicked one incredible goal. 5
9 StK Beavered away and gave saints some trouble. 6
10 WB Took six marks and kicked three goals. Probably his best game of the season. 6
13 Geel Kicked two first-term goals that got the Swans away to a flyer. 6
