Played for : Fremantle

1 Geel Had hands full with Hawkins (three goals) but battled manfully. The way the ball was going down didn't help though. 4
2 Port Had his hands full with Charlie Dixon who won most of the one on one battles. 4
3 WAFL Handy enough down back and spoilt well at times. 11 possessions, but are his cards marked finally? -
4 WAFL One of the better Thunder players in defence. But can't see him regaining his place any time soon. -
5 WAFL Bye. -
6 WAFL Couldn’t get the ball down back and wasn’t as good as usual defensively. -
7 Didn’t play for Peel Thunder.
8 WAFL Playing out his days and was handy enough but no star. -
9 WAFL Played in attack and was okay, but also had his number taken. -
10 Bye.
11 WAFL Played forward again and was in and out of the game. Kicked a goal. -
12 WAFL Tackled hard, but looks lost at times. Hard to see him working his way back into the seniors. -

14 WAFL Kicked two goals in a low-scoring contest. Best game in attack in some weeks. -
15 WAFL Had 17 touches and took seven marks in Peel's win over Claremont. -
16 WAFL Used at both ends and was serviceable. Took eight marks. -

18 WAFL Plays where ever the team needs him. Started back but went forward when extra support was needed. Strong presence around ground. -

2016 Season

1 WB Took Boyd and spoiled well in marking contests. One of Freo’s few who at least broke even. 5
2 GCS Couldn’t stop Lynch from kicking five goals. 4
3 WCE Broke even. Kennedy kicked one goal. You’d take that. 6
4 NM Kept Petrie scoreless despite North booting 20 goals. Did his bit. 7
5 Carl Did his job. Defended when under pressure. 4
6 Adel Really struggling to maintain the big forwards, gives away to many frees. 3
7 GWS Played as a back-up ruckman. That simply didn’t work, unsurprisingly. 2
8 Senior emergency.
9 Rich Got reported, played further up the ground than the last line of defence. 4
10 StK Big reach effective against Saints forwards apart from last term. 5
11 Ess Had very little to do because the ball wasn’t in his region. 4
12 Bris Had little to worry about aside from an early couple of goals from Schache. 4
13 Port Looked shaky when he had the ball in his hands. 4
14 Coll Had some errors early on Cloke, but then did a lot of good work. 5
16 Melb Blown up by Hogan’s work-rate then out-bodied, out-muscled and outclassed. Moved into ruck. 3
17 Geel Kept Hawkins quiet all night and did well defensively. 6
18 GCS Not a bad effort on Lynch, though ended up having four goals kicked on him. 5
19 Syd Played forward, back, in the ruck and got reported. Not a great day. 3

2014 Season

1 Coll Troubled a couple of times early by tall forwards but finished on top. 6
2 GCS Picked up Dixon when he was in attack and did the job on him. Conditions helped. 5

4 Ess Standard game in defence. Plenty of spoils and defensive pursuits. 5
5 Syd A very quiet performance from the key defender. 3
6 NM Stood Daw and competed hard. Didn’t register a kick though. 4
7 WCE Subbed off early in the second quarter after injuring his ankle. 2
8 Ankle.
9 Geel Hawkins kicked three on him but still did OK at key moments. 6
11 WB Selfless. Regularly left his man to help out a teammate. 6
12 Adel Did job on Jenkins and Podsiadly. Also drifted forward for a rare goal 5
13 Rich Had Riewoldt kicked straight it would have made for a dirty day. He didn’t. 5
14 Bris Lined up on Merrett and kept the Lion full-forward quiet. 5
15 WCE Made Kennedy work up the ground. Did enough to keep him quiet. 6
16 Melb Matched up on in-form Pedersen and kept him quite. Steadying influence. 7
17 GWS Battled Cameron and did Ok on him. Giants’ inaccuracy helped him. 5
18 StK Riewoldt beat him comprehensively. 2
19 Carl Battled Henderson in a fine duel. Kept him goalless. 5
20 Geel How he only gave away three free kicks on Hawkins is a mystery. 2
21 Haw Solid again in key defensive post. Kept Gunston to one major. 6
22 Bris Kept Freeman in check for most of the games. Stats not indicative of effort. 5
23 Port Stuck close and niggled Schulz who got away from him at the end 5
QF Syd Did well on Tippett until the Swan pushed up the field. 6

1 WCE Given the run around by Kennedy before moving to Darling. Not his best night. 7
2 WB Monstered Cordy all day and that was his primary task. 6
3 Ess Battled Hurley who got away from him in second half. 4
4 Haw Forced onto Franklin with McPharlin’s withdrawal and was beaten on the day. 3
5 Rich On Vickery at start then on McGuane later and stuck to his task. 5
6 GCS Good job containing his opponent. 5
7 Coll Blanketed Lynch and even thrown into the ruck in Lyon’s rejig. 6
8 Syd He couldn't get near the ball all night in a very quiet performance. 3
9 Melb Didn’t have a great deal to do down back. Had a few iffy touches. 5
10 Adel Quiet game in defence and was thrown forward on occasions. 3
12 Bris On Lisle and McKeever and spent brief time in attack. Solid overall. 5
13 NM Initially on Black. Totally defensive spoiling game. 5
14 Geel Made some errors down back but defended well at times. Can panic. 4
15 StK Young Lee gave him plenty of headaches early. Suffered heavy hit from friendly fire. 2
16 WCE Started on Kennedy and worked hard to spoil. 4
17 Rich Kept Riewoldt to two marks and dominated the one-on-ones, but his four goals vital. 7
18 Adel Didn’t give Jenkins a look-in until the Crow’s late injury. Miserly as always. 7
19 Carl Stood Henderson and did an admirable job once again. 6
20 GWS Had task on Cameron who kicked four on him. Is he vulnerable? 3
21 Melb Did what was required down back but did find Fitzpatrick a tricky one at times. 5

QF Geel Battled Podsiadly in fiery clash. Gave away frees but in end did what he had to. 5

2012 Season

Played for : Fremantle

1 Geel Conceded goals to Podsiadly but was really good when it counted late. 5
2 Syd Was under pressure for much of the match, especially in second quarter. 4
3 Bris Spent time in attack because the ball was rarely in the backline. 5
4 StK On Stanley and Koschitzke. Outmarked by Koschitzke. 3
5 Carl Concentrated on spoiling and did his job fairly well overall. 5
6 GCS Spoiled well as usual and kept his opponent in check. 5
7 Port Port couldn’t get the ball forward which made his job easier. 5
8 Haw Sent forward at one stage as Fremantle tried to juggle options. 4
9 WCE Couldn’t stop the onslaught that came down in the second half. 5
10 Adel Conceded four goals to Walker. Tried to attack more though. 4
11 Rich Kept Vickery under wraps when opposed to him and defender OK. 5
18 WAFL Seven possessions in first game in WAFL for Perth. -
19 WCE Didn’t give the Eagles space. Subbed out because of match fitness. 5

23 Melb Solid game. Became the main defender when McPharlin got hurt. 6
EF Geel Early task on Hawkins easy because ball didn’t get there. Then got on top. 7
SF Adel Stuck close to Tippett all night and blotted him out of game. 7
