Dream Team Profile

2014 Digest:   Handed over captaincy to concentrate on making his last season at the club one to remember. Dogged by a foot injury for much of the pre-season and already in doubt for the opener. At 32, and with an extensive injury history, can the triple premiership Lion shoulder the huge load up forward? Expect his role to be closer to goal than it has in any of the previous 14 seasons.

2014 NAB Cup:   Played first game last weekend after rehabbing from a footy injury but only two touches.

6 Ess Did his best to lift the side with 21 possessions, seven marks and two goals. 7
7 Coll Starved of opportunities but is gaining in confidence. Almost back! 6
8 GWS Back to his best. Be warned North Melbourne. 8
9 NM Raised ire of North when he cannoned into Delaney. One mighty goal. 5

16 StK Started OK then Fisher kept a tight rein. 5
17 GCS Was uncharacteristically fumbly and couldn’t get into it. 4
18 WCE Kicked three goals and was a constant target. 7
19 Rich Two of his four goals were monsters from outside 50. Led from the front. 7
