1 Coll Muscled it out with Cloke and was helped by slow, predictable Collingwood delivery. 7
2 GCS On Lynch and never troubled as service in favoured the defenders. 6
3 Haw Came in under injury cloud. For such a quality player he plodded. 3
4 Ess Starred at half back with 22 touches and 13 marks. Impassable. 9
5 Syd Terrific duel with Franklin and probably finished second best. 6
6 NM Even duel with Petrie who bagged two. OK without starring. 5
7 WCE Off injured early in the first term, came back on and spoiled well all game. 7

1 WCE Moved onto Kennedy after his early blitz. Did the job after half time. 7
2 WB Proved the master of Jones and was superior in the air – 15 marks. 7
3 Ess Copped heavy head hit from Ryder in opening five minutes and subbed out. 0
4 Concussion.
5 Rich Returned as acting captain and thoroughly beat Riewoldt. 7
6 GCS Dominated the Suns’ tall forwards, and took 10 marks. 8
7 Coll Great effort keeping Cloke goalless and racked up plenty of footy himself. 7
8 Syd Solid at the back as usual, taking 10 marks and showing a cool head. 6
9 Melb Subbed out as precaution and wasn’t overly pleased. Did what he had to do. 6
10 Adel Had the wood on Jenkins and Lynch all afternoon. 6
12 Bris Started in defence but spent time in attack. OK game without huge impact. 5
13 NM Made sure Petrie didn’t get the upper hand. 6
14 Geel Did what he could from the back half – 11 marks and seven rebound 50s. 7

1 Geel Had his hands full with Hawkins who kicked four goals. 5
2 Syd Had his hands full with Reid early, but finished strongly. 4
3 Bris Dominated Jonathan Brown. 7
4 StK Had the job on Riewoldt and as usual gave him no respite. 7
5 Carl Started on Waite but ended up being moved to give attack a lift. 5
6 GCS Played at both ends of the ground and did it well. 6
7 Port Got the job done again as a defender and set up attacks too. Top game. 7
8 Haw Stuck to his task on Franklin and did all that he could to hold up his old side. 7
9 WCE Tried his heart out as the Eagles kept pumping the ball in. 6
10 Adel Really good job on Tippett. Kept him in check and had 24 disposals. 8
11 Rich Great job on Riewoldt who he kept to a goal (kicked in opening minutes). 8
13 Ess Had issues with Hurley and Crameri. A rare downer. 4
14 Coll Close to best with a fine job on Cloke plus had six rebounds himself. 7
15 WB Held firm in defence. Didn’t see the ball down there much. 5
16 Melb Deep back on Martin/Rivers and was steady and solid in that role all match. 7
17 GWS Had 23 disposals as Freo used him as a defensive outlet. 7
18 Port Repelled countless Port Adelaide attacks with ease. 8
19 WCE Reported in the first term but did a job for the rest of the game. 6
