2015 Digest:   The end doesn’t appear to be in sight for the champion midfielder who again has set a high standard on the track. Played a run-with role in 2014 and will look to again put the clamps on opposition stars.

1 Carl Went to Murphy (23 disp) for the most part and had 30 himself. Solid. 7
2 Adel Leading possession winner and everywhere the team needed him. 8
3 NM Went to Wells in second term and battled well but couldn’t stop the fleet-footed Roo. 6
4 Bris Keeps finding plenty of the footy and keeps moving it forward. 8
5 WCE Given the job on Gaff and was OK in limiting his outside run. 6
6 Geel Shadowed Selwood superbly. That he didn’t win the medal is staggering. 9
7 GWS Given the job on Treloar, he got the better of the young Giant. 7
8 Frem Had space to play and picked up 29 disposals. 6
10 Haw Started on Hodge and still found plenty of the footy. 6
11 Melb Started well and was a consistent contributor all day. One of the Power’s best. 7

1 Melb Tagged Jones and won a truckload of his own ball. One of Port’s best. 8
2 GWS Usual productive game continually pumping ball forward. 6
3 Adel Has rejuvenated his career and improved his disposal efficiency. 8
4 GCS Torched by Ablett in first quarter before responding with 35 touches of his own. 8
5 WCE Deserved to be on the winning side in his 250th AFL match. 7
6 NM Honest worker with plenty of touches and also tackled hard. 6
7 Rich Found plenty of his own footy while chasing Deledio and Martin. 7
8 Carl Eight tackles and linked up well with 16 uncontested possessions. 7

3 Syd Racked up plenty of the football but was not damaging. 5
4 Coll Racked up 22 first-half disposals and finished with 37. Everywhere. 8
5 Adel Found lots of the footy but not damaging enough with his disposals. 6
6 Rich Had the run with role on Brett Deledio but couldn’t keep up. 4
7 Frem Had 24 possessions but only four were contested. 6
8 NM Did a great job in nullifying the brilliant Brent Harvey. 6
