4	Carl	Not at his absolute best, but a key contributor in midfield. 30+ touches and a goal a hand return.	7
5	Adel	Busy first half but influence waned in the second half. Team high five tackles.	7
6	NM	Did the lot including a rare high mark. Was a clearance machine in the middle and a succession of Roos couldn’t stop him.	9
7	Geel	Gave the Suns great drive all night with 32 disposals and one ripping goal from the 50 metres on the boundary.	8
8	Port	Quiet first half with 10 touches and never really got going other than a couple of little spurts. Stats flatter.	5

4	Bris	A rare time when he didn’t have an overbearing influence. Robinson’s tagging?	7
5	NM	Copped a battering with corked calf but kept going all game.	6
6	Geel	Bright start but like many teammates faded. Eight clearances.	6
7	Melb	Spent majority of first half in attack before reverting to midfield role. Just OK.	6
8	GWS	Can’t question work ethic, but struggled to assert dominance at stoppages.	5

10	WCE	Returned to form. Won 17 contested possessions. Great signs.	7

6	GWS	Huge influence by skipper. Curled home a ripping goal in second term.	8
7	NM	Wasn’t his best outing until a three-goal final term electrified the stadium.	8
9	StK	Unstoppable early with three goals in first term and was a cut above anyone else.	9
10	WB	Tagged hard by Picken who got under the champ’s collar. MRP will look at elbow on ground.	6

12	Syd	Enjoyed running around without much company. Did all he could to drag Suns back.	8

6	Frem	Kept under very close watch by Crowley all night and was frustrated.	7
7	Melb	Burnt off Dunn and was unstoppable for much of the evening.	8
