Dream Team Profile

2013 Digest:   Seems a more rounded footballer these days than he was at Adelaide. Hardly ever misses a game and his running off the half-back flank or wing are important facets of the team. Another player who Sydney has managed to move up a cog. Started pre-season a bit later than most.

2013 NAB Cup:   Delayed start to pre-season and had his first run on weekend so is a bit underdone.

2012 Season

Played for : Sydney Swans

1 GWS Not required to do a heap but what he did was solid in the back half. 5
2 Frem Solid, but struggled to get into the match at times. 4
3 Port Only the eight touches for the former croweater. 3
4 NM Safe and reliable, but did not provided as much run as usual. 4
5 Haw Osborne tried to negate him, but he still had an effect. 5
6 Adel Did not win much of the ball and provided little run against old side. 3
7 Rich Only 14 touches from 96% game time. Lacked his usual rebound. 3
8 Melb Back to something like his best form, with dash and daring. Good game. 6
9 StK Not conspicuous by his normal standards. Struggled to stay with Milera 3
10 WB Had a quiet night in defence, although the ball rarely came his way. 3
11 Ess Steady without being spectacular. 4
13 Geel Used ball well and decision making pretty good. Solid and steady. 6
14 GWS A little quiet by his standards and subbed out at three quarter-time. 4
16 WCE Did pretty well but wasn’t a stand out performer. 5
17 StK Not a factor. 3
18 GCS Fairly quiet night. 3
19 Carl Usage efficiency wasn’t great and had little impact. 3
20 Coll Took four marks and got forward to set up some of the Swans’ offence. 5
21 WB Did what he had to down back – which wasn’t much after half time. 6
22 Haw Rebounding not as prolific as some weeks but kept battling. 6
23 Geel Put under pressure at times down back but did what he could. 6
QF Adel Sagged off in defence to create run and did his bit towards the win. 6
PF Coll Played his defensive role with aplomb. Just does his job. 6
GF Haw Laid a key tackle late to thwart Hawks’ forward thrust. Played his role. 6
