4 Syd Did most of the ruckwork in tandem with Vardy. Off with blood rule in third term but got the upperhand in the ruck. 6
5 Didn’t play for East Perth.
6 Frem Beaten in the ruck by Sandilands. 3
7 Port Needs to cut down on the amount of free kicks he gives away. 3
8 WAFL Good in the ruck and kicked a goal, but did little around the ground aside from that. -

5 WAFL Strong showing with 17 touches, 33 hit outs and a goal against Angus Graham. -
6 WAFL Solid in ruck with 20 hit outs but just seven touches and a goal. -
7 WAFL Bye. -
8 WAFL Three goals from 10 disposals and 18 hit outs. -
9 WAFL Struggled in conditions with six disposals, 28 hit outs, one goal. -

1 Syd Parked down back and big man is still learning new role. 5

3 Melb No.2 ruckman didn’t have to do much on ball. Conditions made it rough for him. 3
4 WB Excellent first half set up the Giants lead but impact faded in the final term. 6
5 Adel Beat Jacobs in the ruck duels but not in general play. 6
6 GCS Dominated hit-out count but of little value around the ground. 3
7 Port Produced a career-best 44 hit-outs to conquer the in-form Lobbe. 7
8 WCE Tried hard in his 50th game for the Giants but wasn’t able to get the better of Cox/Naitanui. 4

7 Adel Strove hard in the ruck and broke even with Jacobs in ruck contests. 4

5 WB Battled away but Minson got on top in the second. 5
6 Carl Rucked solo in second half after Brogan got injured and effort told. 4
7 GCS His best game as a Giant, 21 possessions and 3 goals is a massive return. 8
8 Bris Did some useful things in his dual role as ruckman and spare forward. 5
9 Ess Courageous effort again, this time against Bellchambers and Ryder. 7
10 Geel Took it up to Cat pair and took the honours without dominating the contest. 6
13 Melb Only four hits outs to advantage and not much around the ground. 3
14 Syd Managed 14 contested possessions in another fighting effort from the ruckman. 6
