2017 Season

1 Ess Kicked two goals and gave Baguley trouble at times. Forward pressure was at its normal high standard. 6
2 Adel Took mark of the year contender over Kelly and ended day with three goals. Solid for a small forward. 6
3 GCS Booted a first quarter goal which was the total sum of his contribution. 1
4 Geel One goal early in game but was so far down on his best it’s hard to fathom. Three kicks was a disastrous effort. 2
5 WCE Kicked a goal and applied good pressure in the front half that contributed to West Coast’s disposal errors. 6
6 StK Only one possession in opening half hour and although he worked hard, was a non-factor in attack. 3
7 Melb Didn’t have a kick in the first half and managed three for the game despite going onto the ball at times. No goals, six tackles. 2
8 Bris Played more midfield time in the second half and was hard at the coalface. No goals again, though. 4
9 Coll High-octane opening with two goals and several pack-busting efforts. Tackles (13) almost caught disposals (15). 6
10 Syd Kicked a first half goal and put some pressure on but disappeared a bit after half time. 4
11 Port Two kicks in opening half and four for the match. Not far away from a spell in the VFL way things are going. 1
12 GCS Struggled to impact the contest with 11 disposals and five tackles. Just not having impact he once did. 3

14 Adel Poppy always hurts Adelaide on the scoreboard, another two goals when it mattered most. 6

2016 Season

1 Geel Helped drag the Hawks back into the contest with three goals. Energy was great all day. 7
2 WCE Energetic as always in the front half to either create scoring chances or put pressure on. 6
3 WB A menace as always with five tackles inside 50. But didn’t hit the scoreboard. 5
4 StK Got his two goals – including a crucial one in final term. Chasing and harassed as always. 5
5 Adel Played the game of his life with spectacular marking and great breakaway pace. 9
6 GWS Two goals but no impact and has to stop throwing head back looking for frees. 3
7 Rich Strong start and took superb mark rivalling the one against the Crows. Good performer. 7
8 Frem Good early and booted nice goal, but less impact later. 5
9 Syd Tried hard enough but couldn’t make the impact on the game as in early weeks. 5
10 Bris Honest performance in forward half and rotating through the midfield. Had six inside-50s. 5
11 Melb Well contained for much of the day despite great energy in the front half. Tackled hard. 5
13 NM Limited influence on the game. 3
14 GCS Didn’t get into the game at all. Four kicks, two tackles and no goals. 2

2015 Season

1 Geel Ten disposals and two goals in first half and ended with three – plus a screamer. 7
2 Ess Two first half goals and worked hard defensively. Quieter after main break. 5
3 WB Troubled Morris early but did well til hurting quad and subbed off last term. 5

17 Carl Sub. Helped himself to three goals to ensure he was involved in the party. 6
18 Rich What he did was good but periods where he had no impact. Four tackles. 4

20 Geel Taylor went to him at times in interesting match-up. A presence. 6

2014 Season

1 Bris Tried to negate Adcock’s influence. Got his hands on the ball, but just 0.2. 4
2 Ess Lively. Laid six tackles, had six inside-50s and kicked a goal. 7
3 Frem Starred in first term and steady after that. 6
4 GCS Tenacious as usual in forward half. 6
5 Geel Laid eight tackles but only two inside-50s and no goals. 5
6 Rich Tracked by Vlastuin and worked hard in low-key game. 5
7 StK Fierce in applying forward pressure. 5
8 Syd Mixed good with bad. Worked hard but often let himself down with poor use. 5
10 Port Never stopped running, laid five tackles and had three clearances. 6
11 GWS Struggled. Laid five tackles but lacked any spark offensively. 3

1 Geel Got under guard for 19 first-half disposals and while faded he was among best. 7

4 VFL Got through OK but was rusty at times. -

6 StK Pumped to snag a goal as Hawks blew game to bits in last quarter. 2
7 Melb One Hawk who capitalised on chances with two goals in first half. 3
8 Frem Matched on Duffield. Subbed off in third quarter. 3
9 Rich Subbed in last quarter but game was already gone. Hard to blame him. 1
10 NM Kicked three goals and ignited the team with his tackling and harassing. 7
11 Port Forward pressure was intense, had five inside 50s and kicked a goal. 6
