2017 Season

1 Haw A bit quieter than normal with 18 possessions, but had some handy involvements. 5
2 Bris Got the better of Bewick and his last quarter goal on the run sealed victory. 7
3 Carl Not much to celebrate in game 150. Seven kicks and one insidce-50 in what ended as a day to forget. 3
4 Adel Won plenty of uncontested footy but wasn’t damaging. 6
5 Coll Ended up with 17 touches but a few were late cheapies. 4
6 Melb For a skilful player, his kicking in the first half was comical. Improved in second half but lacked his typical run. 5
7 Frem Only 14 possessions. Needed to do more. 5
8 Geel Got back into form with 31 disposals, five tackles, six inside-50s and two clearances. Relished space afforded to him all night. 8
9 WCE Won a lot of the ball early and was a catalyst for the match-winning break the Bombers set up. 7
10 Rich Led team with 35 touches, six inside-50s, six tackles and a goal. Back to form after early struggles in season. 8
11 GWS Had the clamps put on to a degree through the middle, but still handy at stages. 5
12 Port Got in on the act in midfield. An important link through the middle of the ground. 7
13 Bye.
14 Syd Kicked a goal in second term and a lot of the ball through midfield. Very good effort. 7
15 Bris OK without having big influence. 5
16 Coll Loved the fact the game was played in a bruise free fashion to win plenty of the ball; 38 disposals a game high. 8
17 StK Allowed to run his own race down the wing and enjoyed a superb first three quarters and could afford to take foot off the pedal. 8
18 NM Coughed it up in the first half as did a number of Bombers midfielders. Turned it around after that with a goal and good delivery inside 50. 6
19 WB In everything in early stages to help set up a handy lead. Not as prominent later on, but did still keep running. 7
20 Carl Relished space afforded to him to grab a mountain of footy (33 possessions) and added three clearances and four inside-50s. 8
21 Adel Ran hard to win ball and gave a performance that was consistent across four quarters. 7
22 GCS Prolific ball winner, amassing 38 possessions and 15 inside 50's. Outstanding. 9
23 Frem Had 25 touches in the end, but wasn’t as influential as he's been in recent weeks. 6
EF Syd Unable to provide quality of recent weeks. Mustered 16 effective possessions and laid 11 tackles though. 6

2016 Season

1 GCS Toiled manfully right throughout. Hard running reaped two goals. 8
2 Melb Monster performance highlighted 12 disposals in the first term. Ten inside-50s, five tackles. 9
3 Port Seven tackles and eight clearances, a typical game from the livewire midfielder. 7
4 Geel Bombers’ best. Ran himself ragged and a cut above in the midfield. Great start to year. 8
5 Coll Among the Bombers’ best in the first half and was a hard worker in the midfield. 6
6 Carl Worked hard but many of his disposals didn’t hurt the Blues. Only two inside-50s. 6
7 Syd Huge presence in the midfield with 33 disposals and seven clearances. 7
8 NM Tagged out of the game by Jacobs. Nine effective disposals and one inside-50. 3
9 StK Ran hard across four quarters and flew the flag all the way through. 7
10 Rich Grabbed 20 touches in first half then slowed a little. Ten clearances and five inside-50s. 7
11 Frem Tagged out of the game by Barlow. Just 11 disposals. 3
12 Haw Tackled strongly and won ball but efficiency not always great. 6
13 GWS Gave his all to grab six clearances, five tackles and three inside-50s. Solid performance. 7
15 WCE Tagged out of the game. Lost his cool. 3
16 Suspended.
17 Rich Played his part in midfield and worked hard back to support defence. Contributed well. 6
18 Bris Tagged by Robinson and had minimal impact on the contest. Team needed him to do more. 4
19 Adel Hardly sighted, the toll of the season seems to be wearing him down. 4
20 Geel Tagged out of the game by Scott Selwood. Only two inside-50s and three clearances. 3
21 GCS Huge first half when allowed to run free, then Shaw locked down on him but in everything late. 8
22 WB Handed the job on Bontempelli at the start. Worked hard. 7
23 Carl Found some ball on a wing but not a massive impact on the outcome. 6

2015 Season

1 Syd Had his share of the ball without dominating. 6
2 Haw Got his hands on ball but wasn’t his most influential outing. 6
3 Carl Three important goals from nine kicks so made most of chances. 6
4 Coll Looked to be carrying injury and never extended. One goal. 5
5 StK Contributed with two goals and ran hard. 5
6 Frem Essendon desperately needed his run but it never came. 3

13 VFL Put hand up for recall with 28 possessions in midfield. -
14 StK Didn’t rise above the ordinary and making little impact. 3
15 Melb Laid five tackles but lacked his usual zip around the ground. 4
16 NM Started to show signs he’s regained zip in his legs. A game to build on. 6
17 Port Better signs than recent weeks. A bit more like his best form. 6
18 WB Horrible first half then lifted slightly. Only two inside-50s and no clearances. 4
19 GWS OK without starring in midfield rotation. 5
20 Adel Won his share of ball forward of centre and used it well. 6
21 GCS One of his better games of the season. Also laid six tackles. 7
22 Rich Sluggish first half but to his credit he lifted after half time. 6
23 Coll Just going. Won a bit of the pill but didn’t hurt the Magpies often. 4

2014 Season

1 NM Constant generator in the middle. 6
2 Haw Played his game in spurts. One of few Bombers to get more disposals in first half. 6
3 Carl Linked well through midfield to play his part. 6
4 Frem Didn’t have a great day. Defensively was poor and struggled to penetrate Docker defence. 4
5 StK 22 touches were deceiving stat as he wasn’t incisive. 4
6 Coll Needs to do more in space than currently producing. Four inside-50s, six tackles. 6
7 WB Found a bit of form. Had 23 touches and used it a lot better. 6
8 Bris Sidelined for a while with head injury but came back and was handy. 5
9 Syd His best game this year. Won the ball well and looked dangerous going forward. 7
11 Rich Shoulder was heavily padded but crashed in unperturbed. Run and spread cut open Tigers. 7
12 GWS Apart from a flat second quarter was a constant driving force. 7
13 Melb Four goals, including two to put Dons ahead were huge. Did all he could to get the win. 8
14 Adel Well held by Laird so went forward. His goal came from a great contested mark. 5
15 Geel Went berserk in third term to get side back into contest. Given too much space. 7
16 Port Seven tackles, four clearances and five inside-50s to be the Bombers’ best. 8
17 Coll Not a big impact on the match. 4
18 WB Rarely got off the chain and appeared to injur leg. Quiet. 4
19 Syd Kept working hard in middle. Hurt ankle right at the end. 6

4 StK Racked up plenty of possession, damaging on a wing. 7

8 Bris Won a lot of footy and OK in patches but not overly damaging in space. 6
9 Rich Broke the game open in second quarter with two telling goals. Big game player. 7
10 Syd Busy at half forward and on the ball, but sometimes sprayed it. 6
11 Carl Busy in first half and steady all through. 6
12 GCS Another Bomber to put up good numbers without really starring. Just OK. 6
14 WCE Eagles shut him out early in third term but he kicked on. 7
15 Port Topped off a good individual game with two goals to be among the best. 7
16 WB Copped knee from Smith early in game and was late subbed out. 2
