1 NM Six inside-50s to go with 31 touches. Showed customary burst and power a few times. 7
2 StK Produced when his team needed him with 30 disposals, 10 tackles and two goals. 8
3 Rich Had a very productive game with 30 disposals, but let himself down with his disposal. Has to improve by foot to go up a level. 7
4 Syd The best of the Eagles’ mids in opening exchanges and continued that form throughout the night. Super influential. 8
5 Haw Didn’t always hit the target but had 33 touches and kicked two goals. Showed his teammates how to play anywhere, anytime. 8
6 Frem Tagged early. But got amongst the action late and had 28 disposals and four goal assists. 6
7 Port Big game in the engine room with six tackles, four clearances and six rebound-50’s. 6
8 WB Laid 10 tackles and had 20 possessions. Not as dominant as previous weeks. 7
9 Ess Made some errors and had a costly fumble that led to a Daniher goal. Had better days. 5

11 GCS Fantastic around the clearances and also managed to hit the scoreboard. 7

13 Geel Huge game. Led from the front, won the ball, was dangerous at stoppages and laid seven tackles. Complete game. 8
14 Melb Collected 20 disposals and six clearances. 6
15 WB Unable to find a lot of clear space, but some desperate defensive efforts including 10 tackles. 7
16 Port Disappeared in the third term. A prominent player at clearances though. 6
17 Frem Good in tight. Not dominant but won some key contests. 6
18 Coll Picked it up in the second half. Seemed to get a hit in the knee late in the contest. Solid. 7
19 Bris Carried an injury during the game. Still had 27 touches. 7
20 StK Dangerous in first half then needed attention for injury and was restricted. 5
21 Carl Had a big final term which played a role in the team winning. 7
22 GWS Eagles could have used his explosiveness out of the middle late. Didn’t really step up when needed. 6
23 Adel Never stopped having a crack. Had 28 disposals and kicked one goal. Stepped up. 7
EF Port Very good all night around the footy, then became the hero after drawing a free kick and kicking goal after extra-time siren. 8
SF GWS Last week’s hero, but not at his best. Tackled hard and did some good things. You’d hope he didn’t have to pay for that haircut. 6

2016 Season

1 Bris A beneficiary of Naitanui’s ruck work. Had lots of the ball. 7
2 Haw Kept legs ticking over and never threw in the towel. One of the few to break even. 6
3 Frem A trademark game with clearances and a goal. Played well. 7
4 Rich Quality midfield game with two goals and 22 disposals. Great at clearances. 7
5 Syd Terrific in contested pack situations for four quarters. 8
6 Coll Loved working with Naitanui. The forwards got on the end of his supply. 8
7 Geel Battled hard but swamped. Only has six kicks, three clearances and two inside-50s. 5
8 StK In cracking form and St Kilda had no answer to non-stop running. 8
9 Port Typical display, six clearances, six inside-50s and a goal. 7
10 GCS Relished Nic Naitanui’s ruck dominance. Booted a goal too. 7
11 WB Eagle’s best. Tackled well and had six clearances, four inside-50s and nine tackles. 8
12 Adel Won plenty of contested ball. Kept fighting. 6
13 Bris Started slowly but wound up after half time to have a direct influence on outcome. 7

17 Carl Looked attacking when he went near the ball. Contribution even throughout. 7

19 Coll Battled away against the tide in midfield, but could only manage one clearance. 6
20 Frem Influential again. He wins the ball when it matters. 8
21 GWS Immense with 38 touches, two last-quarter goals and 23 contested possessions. 9

2015 Season

1 WB Two goals and 13 disposals in first half then went out of game to a degree. 6
2 Carl Has played better games but got dangerous forward or centre which hurt Blues. 6
3 Frem Just 17 touches but hampered by sore back. 4
4 Bris Going well (14 touches) until subbed out in third quarter. 5
5 GWS His clearance combination with Naitanui was superb. 7
6 Port Two goals in the final quarter to seal the victory. 7
7 GCS Added five score assists and one goal to his 29 disposals. 8
8 StK Sort of matched with Steven and won a lot of touches. 7
9 Geel Always a factor bursting out of the middle and played well throughout. 7
10 NM Eight clearances and 15 contested possessions helped keep the wheels turning. 7
11 Ess Well held in the first half. Enjoyed more freedom from there. 6
12 Rich Appeared to be going with Edwards early. Solid 6
14 Melb Broke away from Viney at crucial times to play his part. 6

23 StK Won 30 possessions and was good in space and in congestion. 7
QF Haw Huge second term (11 disposals) a key factor in victory. Six clearances. 7
PF NM Tagged by Jacobs and had one of the quietest games of the year. Two goals. 4
GF Haw Slotted first goal and one of the few to produce a four-quarter effort. 6

2014 Season

1 WB Tagged by Wallis and quiet except for brilliant goal out of mid-air. Subbed out. 5
2 Melb Got the ball rolling with a breakaway goal. Didn’t let up either. 8
3 StK Curren tracked him well. 4
4 Suspended.
5 Port Tagged by Cassisi who stuck to his task. Good without being great. 6
6 Carl West Coast’s best with two goals, great courage and 28 touches. 8
7 Frem Was not able to get the ball in space often enough, an average game. 5
8 GWS Tagged by Greene and had his colors lowered in a rare matchup defeat. 5
10 Coll Couldn’t really get going with Macaffer often on his tail. 4
11 NM Lack of impact on the game was disappointing. 3
12 Haw Back to form with 29 possessions. Kept on running. 7
13 Ankle.
14 StK Had a lot of the ball and was OK. Tunnelling Riewoldt was a cheapish shot. 5
15 Frem Tried hard to lift his side despite Crowley tag, but wasn’t his best outing. 5
16 Syd Had 24 touches and was good at times, but hasn’t reached heights expected. 6
17 Bris Unstoppable. Reason behind Eagle’s two goal win. 9
18 Rich Involved plenty until hurt ankle going third man up in third term and slowed up. 6
19 Adel Exquisite skills in the midfield with nine clearances and five inside-50s. 8
20 Coll Macaffer tag didn’t faze him. Six inside-50s, seven clearances and a goal. 7
21 Ess Busy all day but had diminished influence in last half hour. 7
22 Melb Pressed forward from midfield to regularly hit scoreboard (1.3). Solid evening. 6
23 GCS Five first-half clearances and nine for match highlight a strong performance. 8

2013 Season

1 Frem Shadowed by Crowley and couldn’t shake him. Just 12 touches. 4
2 Haw Strong game but was kneed in head late in the day. 6
3 Melb Provided some run and dash with 17 uncontested possessions and six Inside-50s. 6
4 Carl Handy without starring. Did miss a critical goal late in the third term. 7
5 Port Up until three-quarter time was the best player on the field. 8
6 WB Stevens couldn’t contain him, Copped knock on ankle late 7
7 Bris Well held by Raines. Restricted to only 12 disposals. 4
8 NM Enthralling duel with Ziebell. Pushed forward for two goals and instrumental late. 6
9 GWS The midfield was on top all day and Shuey was an integral member. 7
10 Rich Good start on wing and was one of the better Eagles. 6
11 StK Jones went with him but he was still able to create. Influential after half time. 6
13 Haw Relished space to be among the best – 15 cont poss, six clearances, two goals. 8

1 WB Found space and time and generally a factor the Dogs had to worry about. 7
2 Melb Busy throughout. Received seven free kicks. Kept getting tackled high. 7
3 GWS Supreme effort with 25 possessions and five goals from midfield. 9
4 Haw Started strongly then hurt his shoulder but played out the game. 5
5 Rich Should he have played after shoulder injury last week? Hardly sighted. 2
6 NM Had a big second half. Kicked 2.2 from 20 possessions. 6
7 Ess On top of Monfries in first half but Bomber fought back. Hurt shoulder. 6
8 StK Superb with 25 possessions, six clearances and two goals. 7
9 Frem Brilliant in the midfield. Had the ball on a string. 8
12 Carl Strong game but copped heavy hit to ribs late in the match. 6
