2014 Digest:   Former Swan had to wait until Round 19 to make his season debut in 2013 but kicked 16 goals in the final five games to breath life into a gasping career. Despite the spike in form the club still decided to acquire former Cat James Podsiadly so Johnston will have his work cut out to retain a place with Jenkins and Walker also set to resume.

2014 NAB Cup:   Played opener against Port but quiet and was dropped back to SANFL where he kicked seven goals last weekend.
