1 GWS Totally blanketed Jonathon Patton out of the game. 6
2 Haw Went to Gunston and did that job really well. Able to get in the way of many Hawthorn forward thrusts. 6
3 Port Don Pyke surprised everyone by putting him on Robbie Gray and it worked. 7
4 Ess Great dual with Joe Daniher, kept him to two goals. Getting better with each game he plays. 6
5 GCS Moved onto Lynch when Talia was forced off and was OK. 5
6 Rich Had the unenviable task of lining up one on one with Martin out of the goal square, despite conceding one goal held his own. 6
7 NM Torched by Waite. Horror outing and couldn’t do anything right. 2
8 Melb Had a nightmare in defence and couldn’t contain Cam Pedersen when he rested forward. 4
9 Bris Not overworked. Equal lowest disposal stats (nine) for the Crows. 4
10 Frem Put the clamps on Shane Kersten and pushed forward for three inside-50’s. 6
11 Geel Started on Taylor then moved to Hawkins. Did that job pretty well but did make a few mistakes in spoiling. 5

14 Haw Decision making poor on occasions, needs to read the play better when teammate is in a better position. 4
15 Carl Went off with a hamstring injury late in the third term, didn’t have a great impact on proceedings prior to the injury. 3

PF Geel Got the Hymie from Get Smart look going but played it well. Did his job. 4
GF Rich Decision-making and skill level let him down enough to hurt his impact. In the end was a liability to the team. 2

2016 Season

1 SANFL Influential second half on defensive last line. -
2 Port Made the most of his return to the side and part of a great team defence. 5
3 Rich Had the task on Vickery and did fairly well overall. 5
4 Syd Getting better with each game, his confidence is lifting as he realises he belongs. 5
5 Haw Started on Gunston and did job effectively. Solid. 5
6 Frem Getting better with each game, could be in trouble with a high hit on Walters. 6
7 WB Battled against Redpath for the most part. Still finding feet as a defender. 4
8 Geel Did the job on Stanley, restricting him to one goal. 5
9 GCS Played on Wright for the most part who kept him honest. 4
10 GWS Had the job on Lobb when he drifted into the defensive 50. 5
11 StK Kept Nick Riewoldt to one goal. 6
12 WCE Good job on Darling. Competed strongly. 6
14 NM Had his hands full with Ben Brown, and was OK. 5
15 Melb Went Hogan and able to nullify him reasonably effectively. 5
16 Carl Took Walker for long periods and had him covered. Steady without starring. 5
17 Coll Had a turn on each of the Collingwood tall forwards and was impressive. 6
18 Geel Had Menzel at times and found him pretty slippery. Offered little offensively. 3
19 Ess Thrown forward in the second half and was rewarded with his first ever AFL goal. 5
20 Bris Back to defence this week and nullified Lester’s impact. 6
21 Frem Held firm in defence. Did a job. 5
22 Port Doesn’t get the credit he deserves, unlucky to have given away three free kicks. 5
23 WCE Great tussle with Darling, with the Eagle getting the honours in the end. 5

SF Syd Did a pretty good job on Franklin after he had to go to him when Talia went off. 6

2015 Season

1 NM Great confidence booster keeping Waite goalless. 7
2 Coll Worked well in tandem with Talia. Looks to have cemented a spot down back. 7
3 Melb His disposal efficiency is a concern for the coaching staff. 4
4 WB Stringer burnt him off early and he was shifted. 3
5 SANFL Didn't do enough in defence to earn an AFL recall. -
6 SANFL Two kicks, three handballs, six frees conceded. A shocker. -

9 SANFL Solid at full-back, probably broke even with Retzlaff. -
10 Carl Pretty solid for most part on Casboult apart from third term. 4
12 Haw His best game for the club, won many one-on-one battles. 6

16 Port Started off on Westhoff but switched to Schulz after Talia’s injury. 5

6 WB Outmatched early but fought back well to play a solid role in the win. 5

9 Coll Apart for a costly turnover early had the better of White. 6
10 Carl Made some mistakes but kept battling and kept Waite to a goal. 5
