2017 Season

1	GCS	Worked hard to provide good rebound in defence and snuck forward to boot a goal also.	5
2	Ess	Kept motoring in last term when game started to slip although he lost midfield tussle with Zaharakis.	5
3	StK	Had some good moments and kicked a goal to put the Lions ahead, but needed to do more.	5
4	Rich	Started on McIntosh and then exposed for pace when guarding Rioli in second half.	5
5	NEAFL	Strong outing with 26 possessions and a goal. Did his chances of a senior recall no harm.	-
6	NEAFL	Bye.	-
7	NEAFL	Worked overtime in the back half. Got plenty of the ball, but didn’t always hit the target.	-
8	Haw	Barely sighted early but did find some of it after half time. Only a 38 per cent efficiency from 13 disposals.	3

10	NEAFL	A class above Aspley with 36 possessions, 13 inside 50s and a goal.	-

12	NEAFL	Floated through the middle. Didn’t have a massive day, but did his bit.	-
13	NEAFL	Earned a recall to seniors with 31 touches, six inside 50s and three majors.	-
14	GWS	Showed he has a great leap but needs a set of hands to match and he’d be a potent forward weapon. Moved to defence late in game.	5
15	Ess	Kicked three goals all from close range which was important in a low scoring game.	5
16	Geel	Subdued by Bews in his 100th game. Missed a very gettable shot and completely punctured in last term. Fit???	4

18	NEAFL	Just a solid performance from the seasoned AFL player. Kicking efficiency of just 22.2%.	-
19	NEAFL	Came off early in the third term and didn't return, but was still almost BOG. A level above on the wing as the link up man.	-
20	NEAFL	Didn’t kick the ball that well but won a truckload of the footy.	-
21	NEAFL	Handy contributor with 15 touches and five inside 50s. Drifted in and out.	-
22	NEAFL	Handy contributor with 22 possessions and four inside 50s.	-

2016 Season

1	WCE	Needed to win more of the footy as a midfielder.	3
2	NM	Linked up well through the midfield and ran hard throughout.	6
3	Geel	Couldn’t get into the contest. With his experience has to find a way to have more than five kicks.	2
4	GCS	Gathered possessions without really hurting opposition.	5
5	WB	Got a goal and had a few touches but drifted in and out off a wing.	5
6	Syd	Lost out to Lloyd. Another who needs to give more for longer.	5
7	Port	Missed two gettable chances in the third quarter.	5
8	Coll	Broke even early with Sidebottom on a wing. A goal to open third term the highlight.	5

12	Frem	Got plenty of the ball and looked to carry the footy.	6

14	Rich	Started back but went forward late and looked much more comfortable.	4

17	GWS	Tried to stake a claim for mark of the year. Overall, one goal from seven touches didn’t cut it.	4

2015 Season

1	Coll	Broke even with Crisp on a wing but still a lot of room for improvement.	6

3	Rich	Gathered a solid number of touches for reactive rather than proactive reasons.	5
4	WCE	Had the job on Hill who had nine touches but he kicked three goals.	5
5	GCS	Starting sub on early and quelled Bennell's influence in second half.	4

7	NEAFL	Lions’ best in loss to GWS. 31 touches on a wing.	-

9	StK	Made several handling errors. Needs to think faster.	5

12	WB	Had his work cut out as negating forward on Murphy. Two goals but beaten.	3
13	Adel	Aerial skills were on show but not much else.	4
14	Frem	First Lions’ goal and eight tackles. Competitive.	6

2014 Season

2	Geel	Sub. Nearly took mark of the century. Kicked one goal from four disposals.	1

5	Rich	Spring made it awkward for Vlastuin at times.	5
6	NEAFL	Quiet in the second quarter but was good after that.	-

8	NEAFL	Played through the middle and on a wing and gave good drive.	-
9	NEAFL	Worked hard all night playing on a wing to be the Lions best.	-

12	WB	His best game at AFL level in some time. Plenty of the ball, played with zip.	8

3	GCS	Lively across half forward and kicked a ripping goal in the last quarter.	5

5	Melb	Roamed far and wide and ended with 1.3. Solid.	6
6	Syd	Held goalless by Smith and had minimal influence.	3
7	WCE	Kicked two goals from limited chances. Did his job.	6
8	Ess	OK as a roaming half forward. Worked hard up the ground to get involved.	5
9	Carl	Started brilliantly with opening goal and finished with three.	7
10	Coll	At half forward he sat on Shaw and did his bit.	7
12	Frem	Tried his hardest to make an impact and put in an honest game.	5

1	Melb	Nipped in early in the contest but was quiet thereafter.	2
2	Carl	Started brightly but tired quickly and faded. Kept a rein on Gibbs.	4

6	NEAFL	In and out of the game. Contributed when needed.	-
7	NEAFL	Booted two goals and was a factor for periods.	-

9	NM	Kicked a nice goal and only had a moderate game.	4

12	Haw	Sub came on in third quarter and had a few touches.	2
