2016 NAB Cup:   Fairly good in first two games and likely starter in Round 1 team.

2016 Season

Played for : Carlton

1 Played in VFL trial against Richmond.
2 Played in VFL trial against Port Melbourne.
3 VFL Won plenty of ball and tried to break the lines when he could. Handy effort. -
4 VFL Wingman gave some drive and ended with a nice haul of touches and a goal. -
5 VFL Got a heap of the ball off a wing and tried to take the game on. Handy. -
6 Senior emergency.
7 Won plenty of the ball off a wing and did what he could to stem tide.
8 VFL Led team in disposals and inside-50s (five). Could not question his work ethic. -
9 VFL Huge game highlighted by six inside-50s and six rebound 50s. Three goals. -
10 VFL Bye. -
11 VFL Racked up stats from the wing but only one inside-50 was telling. -
12 VFL Eight rebound 50s and a mountain of possession kept him at forefront of push. -
13 VFL Bye. -
14 GWS Ran hard through the midfield. Did enough to keep his spot in the side. 4
15 Senior emergency.
16 VFL Five rebound 50s, six tackles and won plenty of the ball. At least working hard. -
17 Senior emergency.
18 VFL Racked up usual tally of touches and laid six tackles. Seems to be on outer though. -
19 VFL Possession-wise down and didn’t have same intensity as previous weeks. -
20 VFL Won plenty of the pill between the arcs and ran hard to create something. -
21 VFL Bye. -
22 VFL Team-high 32 disposals and six inside-50s. Productive afternoon. -
23 VFL Worked hard off a wing but wasteful at times with ball in hand. Three inside-50s. -

2015 Season

2 WCE Former Dog served up some of the stuff that got him cut from his former club. 2
3 VFL Starred with three goals and 30 touches in nail-biting defeat. -
4 Soreness.
5 VFL Had 18 disposals but didn’t lay a single tackle. -
6 VFL Got a bit more inside ball to go with outside run. 29 touches. -
7 GWS 23 touches but butchered ball by foot. Needs to do better. 4
8 Geel Ability to kick ball 10 metres was horrid. No tackles. At least he got the ball. 5
9 Syd Looks uncomfortable when there is any pressure on him. Struggled. 3
10 Adel Struggled. Only four effective disposals. Played with very little poise. 2
12 VFL Sat out on wing and tried to use pace to break lines. Fair. -
13 VFL 11 possessions and was in and out. -
14 WB Late inclusion for Rowe and provided run against old club. 5
15 Rich Sub. On early to replace Jamison. Made too many mistakes despite effort. 4
16 Frem Tried hard and kicked a goal. 5
17 Haw Kept making mistakes each time he went near the ball. Offered little. 3
18 NM Ran very wide and couldn’t sniff it. Subbed out. 2

20 VFL Provided an outlet on the wing to end with 25 possessions. -
21 Melb Almost the barometer for the opposition. When plays well your in trouble. 7
22 GWS Run was OK but needs to add contested ball to his repertoire. 5
23 Haw Handy accumulator on outside. One of the better Blues. 6

2014 Season

Played for : Western Bulldogs

1 PM Gave good run on a wing. -
2 PM Linked well through midfield and added some toe. -
3 VFL Provided good run on a wing. -
4 GWS Sub. On early for Morris and kicked two goals. Provided crucial run. 5
5 VFL Broke the game open when he tucked the ball under his arm. Good. -
6 VFL Used on a wing and broke the game open with pace and kicking. -
7 VFL Provided some run on the outside on a tight, contested day. -
8 Melb Two goals in final term proved critical in the wash-up. Steady. 6
10 GCS Gave some much-needed run and kicked two goals. 6
11 Frem Lively early. Had six inside 50s. 5
12 Bris Played at half forward and on a wing opposed to Harwood. Gave some run. 5
13 Coll Kicked two goals including the sealer. 6
14 Port Normally a sharpshooter but missed two easy shots. 4
15 Concussion.
16 VFL Ran hard and kicked a nice early goal. -
17 VFL Burst in and out of the game with a few customary dashes. -
18 VFL Wasn’t a big factor on the outside despite Dogs’ dominance. -
19 VFL 19 touches and drove the ball forward and ran hard. -
20 VFL Kicked three goals. Provided great outside run and carry. -
21 VFL Ran hard on a wing to press his claims for a senior recall. -
22 VFL Wayward in front of big sticks but had 23 touches. -
23 VFL Good on the outside again with 21 touches and a goal. -

2013 Season

Played for : Western Bulldogs

1 VFL Broke the lines and gave great drive off a wing. -
2 VFL Bye. -
3 VFL Ran hard and helped break the game open with speed. -
4 Adel Ineffective display from the small half forward. 3
5 Geel Quiet start but really lifted in the second half to be a factor forward of centre. 5
6 WCE On another young player in Smith and wasn’t a standout. 4
7 NM Hardly sighted. Subbed off in third quarter. 1
8 VFL Broke the lines a few times, but was in and out of the game. -
9 VFL Continued to break the lines and provide good drive. -
10 Senior emergency.
12 VFL Gave some run, but wasn’t a major influence. -
13 VFL Worked up from the forward line to link through midfield. Fair game. -
14 VFL Found space on a wing and was handy driving the ball forward. -
15 GWS The Canberran struggled with his disposal in his first game since Round 7. 3
16 Ess Used his speed at times but has to make better decisions when he gets it. 4
17 Haw Pumped the ball inside 50 on five occasions, but did not do much else. 4
18 WCE Handy enough with 12 disposals in first half then faded in second. 5
19 Syd Showed some good breakaway pace on McVeigh early. 4
20 Carl Sub. Gave run and dash when he came on and managed to hit the scoreboard (1.2). 2

22 Bris Sub. Had a chance late to kick a key goal but missed. It’s a chance he has to take. 1

QF VFL Consistently broke the lines and was rewarded with five goals. -

1 VFL Looked rusty but worked into the game. -
2 VFL Dashing effort off half back. Broke the lines. -
3 VFL Injured his hamstring again after an early goal. -
5 VFL Gave plenty of run and kicked a good goal. -
6 VFL Tried hard and gave some run. Not the worst. -
14 VFL Broke the lines constantly. Finished well with three goals. -
15 Frem The sub. Had four disposals. 1
16 Haw Subbed on in third term but that was when Hawks had Dogs by the throat. 1
17 Carl Kicked goal right on three quarter-time siren after 50m. Has a future. 5
18 StK Used speed when he could and at least attacked the Saints with the ball. 4
19 NM Used off half-back/wing in attempt to exploit his run. Struggled, subbed out. 3
