2016 Season

1 Carl Didn’t touch it in the first term but worked into game and bobbed up with critical final term goal. 5
2 Coll Quieter night on the stats sheet but workrate was still up to normal standard. 5
3 Adel OK in midfield but will want to get his hands on the ball a bit more next week. 5
4 VFL Responded in fine style to AFL axing with 31 touches in midfield. -
5 Melb Plugged away in the midfield for seven tackles, four inside-50s, six clearances and a goal. 7
6 Port Got hands to ball but is struggling to break away into space 4
7 Haw Big impact early then hauled in during second term. Crucial third term 7
8 Syd Back to near his best form in midfield hustle and bustle with 31 possessions. 7

2015 Season

1 Carl Usual productive game in midfield we have come to expect. 6
2 WB Won his fair share of ball but most behind centre. Used it well. 6
3 Bris Good four quarter effort. Picked up 10 (of 29) touches in second term. 7
4 Melb Toiled away in the middle against the tide. Didn’t drop his head. 6
5 Geel Tagged Selwood pretty effectively until final term when Cat cut loose. 5
6 NM Ran unmarked through the middle and finished up among the best. 8
7 Coll Plugged away in midfield. Six tackles, four clearances, eight rebounds. 7
8 Port Gets under the radar of the opposition, had six inside-50s. 7
9 Ess Blanketed Watson and found it 17 times himself. 7
10 Frem Important component in midfield. 7
12 WCE Prepared to work hard all four quarters. 6
13 Syd Fantastic around the stoppages and tight contests. Laid seven tackles. 8
14 GWS In and under as his former teammates got stuck into him at every turn. 6

17 Frem Battled hard in midfield. Plenty of hard-fought touches. 6

4 VFL Along with Foley, got the Tiger midfield purring. -
5 VFL Battled hard in midfield without starring. Solid outing. -
6 VFL Got plenty of the ball in midfield. -
7 VFL 37 possessions and 12 clearances – clearly best afield. -
8 VFL Bye. -
9 VFL Racked up 29 possessions and nine marks. -
10 VFL Tagged by McGenniss and struggled to have normal impact. -
11 VFL Starred in the middle with 36 touches. Ready to go. -
12 NM Great debut for Tigers, particularly in first half when he gathered 13 disposals. 6
13 Frem Huge first term (12 disposals) and kept going to win team-high 15 contested poss. 7
14 Syd Again showed plenty of promise, and ticking all the boxes at the moment. 6

1 NEAFL Added a goal and had some handy touches. -
2 NEAFL The standout performer in midfield for the Giants. -
3 NEAFL One of the best in Giants midfield around the stoppages. -
4 Melb Subbed on in final term and not given long enough to get into game. 1
5 NEAFL Consistent effort again. Good player at this level. -

7 NEAFL Super consistent performer at this level. Good again. -
8 Haw Promoted to seniors and given enormous task on Mitchell. Had to work hard. 4
9 WCE In and out of the side, his performance should earn him another game. 6
10 NEAFL Responded well to omission with a strong display. -
11 Didn’t play for UWS Giants.
12 NEAFL Won the ball well again. Keeps performing at this level. -

14 NEAFL Solid effort in midfield before sustaining a foot injury. -

5 NEAFL Prolific ball winner coming back from the AFL last week. -
7 NEAFL Tough in and under player took on a big workload. -
8 NEAFL Not his best outing. -
15 NEAFL Was a vital cog in the Giants midfield. -
16 NEAFL Again found a lot of the football through the midfield. -
17 Frem Won a lot of the ball. Worked hard all day. 6
18 Coll Couldn’t maintain his form of last week but still had his moments. 5
19 Port Another young Giant who is slowing down late in the season. 3
