4 GWS Ball from injury and found the ball well enough in the back half. Can build on this effort. 7
5 Carl Played his 100th game for Port Adelaide and walked off a deserved winner. 6
6 Bris Swept across half back and pumped the ball inside 50 seven times with his run. 7
7 WCE A fantastic game as the plus one, started many Power forward thrusts with his attack on the footy and the ability to break the lines. 7
8 GCS The set-up man off half back with his creative ball use and run. Good contributor. 7

10 Geel Really quiet night when side needed him to fire. Six effective disposals not enough for a rebounding defender. 2
11 Haw Took revolving door of smaller forward options and had them covered. Did get a little blinkered in second half. 5
12 Ess Couldn’t get typical running game going off half back. 4
13 SANFL Demoted for a rare SANFL run, had 23 disposals and generated plenty of trademark run out of backline. -
14 Coll Returned to senior line up to gather 23 possessions and attempted to run and create for his team. 7
15 Rich Hasn’t hit the heights of last season when he made the All-Australian squad of forty. 5
16 WCE Yet to re-discover his run after being dropped. Had 17 disposals but only six kicks. 5
17 NM Not as a big a risk taker as previous seasons but there isn’t a need to be with so much run and carry coming from other players. 5
18 SANFL Generated that trademark rebound off his back pocket. Touch and go for an immediate AFL recall though. -
19 StK Read the difficult conditions perfectly and had a very strong return. 7
20 Adel Final margin could have been a lot worse if Pittard didn’t repel many Adelaide attacks. 6
21 Coll Had two opportunities to hit the scoreboard and sprayed them both. 6

23 GCS Missed his one shot on goal and for a defender those chances are few and far between. 6
EF WCE Along with Hartlett had time on Darling as well as trying to rebound. Lucky to get away with push on Petrie in extra time. 5

2016 Season

1 StK Took three intercept marks in the first term thwarting three Saints forward entries. 7
2 Adel One of the few players who can hold his head up high; deserves more credit. 6
3 Ess Ken Hinkley and the crowd love him, has taken his game to the next level. 7
4 GWS Port’s best. Provided good run out of defence and used the ball effectively. 7
5 Geel Didn’t endear himself to rivals with a cheap shot on Ruggles. Tried hard from half back. 7
6 Rich Understated in back half compared to normal flair-filled game. Only the one error. 6
7 Bris In career best form, an All- Australian jumper beckons. 8
8 Carl Tried to take the game on off half back but ball use was hot and cold. 4
9 WCE Has set the bar high this season, not his best game but still very good. 6
10 Melb Effective runner off half-back to help get the ball through Demon press. Made good decisions. 7
11 Coll Used ball fairly well and was afforded too much space at times to set up attacks. 7
12 WB Continued his excellent form, intercept marking and reading of the play a highlight. 8
13 Frem Created and tried to give the team some drive. 7
15 Rich Quiet game by his standards, came out in the long sleeve jumper after half time. 5
16 Haw Breust made him accountable, and he was good enough to still make an impact. 7
17 NM Gave plenty of hard run from defence. 6
18 GWS Continues to impress in defence, All-Australian jumper awaits. 7
19 Bris Started on Keays and solid in defence but didn’t worry stats men too much. 5
20 Syd Tried his hardest down back to provide some life and rebound but made some errors in the process. 6
21 Melb One of the few Power players to take the game on, with eight rebound-50s. 8
22 Adel Impressive across half back with many intercept marks. 6
23 GCS Composed in defence and provided plenty of attacking thrusts. 6

2015 Season

1 Frem Ran with the ball but will rue getting caught by Zac Clarke late. 4
2 Syd Not afraid to take game on, and tried to create drive on every opportunity. 7
3 NM Run and dash from defence all night without many errors. Superb. 8
4 Haw Port Adelaide’s in-form rebounding defender. 7
5 Adel Always takes the game on, wonderful across half back. 8
6 WCE Has his critics but has the courage to take the game on. 5
7 Bris Started on Robinson, had a spell on Green. Has had better days. 5
8 Rich One disposal in the first term and only six to half time. 5
9 Melb Gave some run and dash but not as eye-catching as he has been. 5
10 WB Something always happens when the ball is in his hands. 5
11 Geel Went to Motlop later in game. Tried hard to provide some rebound. Steady. 6
12 Carl Did all he could but sometimes tried to do too much and it hurt the team. 5
14 Syd Some of his turnovers bordered on embarrassing. 2
15 Coll Didn’t take as many chances as previous weeks. 5

18 StK Port fans have hearts in their mouths when he has the footy in hand. 5
19 WB Not his best day, too many turnovers in dangerous positions hurt his team. 2
20 GWS Needs to learn you don’t have to take the game on all the time. 6
21 Haw Took the game on and played with confidence out of the back half. 8
22 GCS Nothing spectacular, did what was required. 5
23 Frem Like Krakouer pushed forward for a goal in the last term. 6

2014 Season

1 Carl Provided some rebound when he could and handy enough off half back. 6
2 Adel Rebounded the footy off the defensive 50 on six occasions. 5
3 NM Subbed on for injured Monfries in third term and did a bit in defence in second half. 5
4 Bris Missed a goal from point-blank range hitting the padding of the goal post. 6
5 WCE Sturdy effort in defence without being a standout. 5
6 Geel Only six kicks to play a minor role down back but no howling errors. 5
7 GWS Had time on Tomlinson and provided some drive out of defence. 5
8 Frem His run from half back, which included a goal, was important. 6
10 Haw Continues to take risks in defence but needs to tidy up on turnovers. 5
11 Melb Used the ball well from the back half and was sturdy in a defensive role. 6
12 StK Pushed forward for a goal in the third term when Power turned up the heat. 6
13 Syd Rebounded off half back but was a bit scrappy by foot. 5
14 WB Disposal under pressure is either first class or a turnover. 5
15 Adel Read the play extremely well running out of defence. 7
16 Ess Has the courage to take the game on when the result is in the balance. 6
17 Rich Took the game on out of defence with differing results. Frustrating player! 4
18 Melb Early running goal but ball use and decision-making were up and down. 5
19 Coll Made some average decisions out of back half and provided little rebound. 3
20 Syd Started as the sub and may be close to losing his place in the side. 4
21 GCS Another to have a strong second half to help Port back into the game. 5
22 Carl Can overuse the football but when he is good he is very good. 7
23 Frem On Mayne and had an interesting mix of good and bad. 4
EF Rich Quiet game but through no fault of his own: Tigers had only 42 inside-50s. 5
SF Frem Effective on Walters in bursts and his run and carry a key in second half. 6
PF Haw Pretty good running out of defence. Kicking and decision making a lot better. 6

1 Melb Used the ball well from the back half and pushed forward for a goal. Good. 7
2 GWS High work rate would have pleased coach. 6
3 Adel Rebounded the footy out of the defensive 50 five times. 5
4 GCS Another to get plenty of the footy and was efficient with it. 5

13 Syd His first game back after injury and started as the SUB. 3
14 Coll Normally his disposal is first class but it let him down on several occasions. 3
15 Ess Struggled to get into the game for much of the evening. Not his best outing. 3
16 Haw Struggled to keep up with Rioli who got out the back on him many times. 4
17 StK At the forefront in first half, but like others he tapered. 6
18 Bris Created four inside 50s with his classy left foot. 6
19 Adel Didn’t find as much space in the middle as previous weeks. 5
20 Geel Used footy well at times on the burst in a solid display. Speed was a factor. 6
21 GCS A quiet performance across half back, limited influence on the game. 4

23 Carl Rotated between high half forward and half back and was OK. 4

SF Geel Terrific speed and run off half back in first half, but then went out of game. 5
