2017 Season

1	Adel	Struggled to make any impression on the game.	4
2	GCS	18 contested possessions from his 28 disposals highlights the strength of his inside work. Strong contributor.	8
3	NM	Centre clearance specialist opened well but did miss a lot of targets even when not under pressure.	7
4	Port	Influential throughout in midfield but hurt shoulder in final quarter. Came back on and still won the ball well.	7
5	Syd	Quiet game by his standards but still won clearances.	5
6	WB	Accumulates plenty of ball (29 disposals) and had six clearances to boot. Won 14 contested possessions to round out night.	8
7	StK	Always around the ball providing run and support. Grabbed seven clearances, six inside-50s and one cracking long goal.	7
8	Coll	One of few Giants to produce required intensity early. Kept on chipping away.	6
9	Rich	Won five clearances – including a few good ones in final term. Steady game without starring.	6
10	WCE	Fantastic first half and then got tagged. Had 26 touches, 12 clearances and two goals.	8
11	Ess	Excellent in midfield battle with 31 touches and eight clearances. Key contributor.	7
12	Carl	Workrate enormous and rewarded with 32 possessions, eight clearances, four inside-50s and two goals. Giants’ best.	8

14	Bris	Big night. Started with 13 disposals in opening term and finished with a game high 38 which included a goal. Unstoppable.	9
15	Geel	Really quiet first half (8 disposals) the got going to be a big factor in getting side back into the game after main break; 27 touches.	7
16	Haw	Electric final quarter. Hip and shoulder shimmy while bursting out of contests is Chris Judd-like.	8
17	Syd	Finished with 32 disposals and seven clearances, but his impact was not the same as previous matches.	7
18	Rich	Copped an injury in second term but returned. Going well until injured again late and was done for the day.	6
19	Frem	Match winning performance in last quarter. Was a beast in the midfield and powerful out of stoppages.	8
20	Melb	Big first half with his power running and contested ball winning. Set the tone.	8
21	WB	Appeared injured but battled on and in second half he was a key to putting a gap on the Dogs. Great effort.	7
22	WCE	Was tagged well by Hutchings and his shoulders are clearly influencing his output.	5
23	Geel	Engine room star did what he could with 24 disposals. First half much stronger than his second; five clearances.	7
QF	Adel	Lacked the impact we have come to expect from him around the ball. Crows midfielders dominated.	5
SF	WCE	Kicked Giants first goal to get them on their way. Defensive work was good too.	7
PF	Rich	Copped a concussion early from a Cotchin hit that the MRP will no doubt look over. Big loss when he went out.	1

2016 Season

1	Melb	Ten contested possessions, four inside-50s and ball use sound in the middle.	7
2	Geel	Six clearances the highlight of his effort that was steady and productive throughout.	7
3	Syd	Terrific from start to finish and used the ball exceptionally well.	7
4	Port	Outstanding four-quarter effort. Gave forwards plenty of supply with eight inside-50s.	8
5	StK	Got the ball rolling in midfield with his gut-running and ability burst away from congestion.	7
6	Haw	Burnt off Hawks to play a strong role in midfield. Set the tone early with power and effort.	8
7	Frem	Fremantle targeted him to close down but he still had 25 possessions.	6
8	GCS	Oozes class. Monster first-half effort set up the GWS win.	8
9	WB	Continues to find the footy and among the Giants’ best in the second half.	7
10	Adel	Super impressive, often is the link in the chain running the footy in the midfield.	7
11	Geel	Head-to-head with Dangerfield at times and superb. Seven clearances and explosion brilliant.	9
12	Syd	Produced a solid second-half display after registering only six touches in first half.	6
13	Ess	After big three-week block just struggled a tad but going after half time.	6
14	Carl	Highest disposal winner on the field. Ran riot in last quarter, kicking two superb goals.	8

2015 Season

1	StK	Six clearances, 13 contested possessions and five inside-50s a big day.	8
2	Melb	Continued super form with three goals and a truckload of bullocking play.	8
3	Syd	Shut out by the Swans and managed only four kicks. Copped knock to leg.	4
4	GCS	In Brownlow form with another 39 touches and was the architect in midfield again.	9
5	WCE	The team’s best player. Had 36 possessions and won six clearances.	8
6	Haw	Asserted his dominance in the middle when the game was in the balance.	6
7	Carl	Afforded far too much time and space for a player in red-hot form.	7
8	Adel	34 possessions and a goal in another action-packed midfield display.	8
9	WB	Saw a fair bit of the ball but possessions came to very little.	4
10	Bris	Bounced back from down performance with a belter. Link work important.	7
11	Coll	Kept running all day in midfield but wasn’t as incisive as he has been.	6

11	Haw	One goal but didn’t get into game as a midfielder. Only two inside-50s.	4
12	Ess	Constant worker around ground and one of team’s best.	7

14	Carl	Blossoming even further this year, he contributed 10 tackles and two goals.	7

1	Syd	Won 17 contested possessions to underline his style. Good, strong effort.	3

10	Carl	Had the big job on Murphy and stuck to his task well.	6
11	Geel	One great gal but generally didn’t get into the game across half forward.	4

5	WB	Efficiency a bit down but still looks a player.	6
6	Carl	Hard running at both ends a feature of a really good prospect.	7
7	GCS	A crafty game which netted him a goal and 16 possessions.	5
9	Ess	One of the best, kicked opening goal and provided toughness in the middle.	7
10	Geel	Nice running goal and one of few Giants to match first-half output in second.	7
12	Rich	Quiet game from him. Might need a week to get the run back into his legs.	3
13	Melb	One of few Giants to lift after half time despite Demons getting right on top.	6
14	Syd	One of GWS’ most consistent players, his foot injury is a serious concern.	5
