15 Adel Big goal from inside the centre square to get the Blues within one goal in the second term. 6
16 Melb Racked up stats playing more midfield and gathered a career-high 35 possessions. Tireless workrate a feature. 8
17 WB Won the ball well but some of his decision-making and skill execution hurt his ability to impact the flow of the contest. 6
18 Bris Lifted considerably in second half when the Blues made a charge. Too late she cried! 6
19 Geel Got a bit of the ball while trying to tag J Selwood. Effort there but impact not enormous despite 23 disposals. 6

2016 Season

2 Syd Lacked some polish but kicked two goals and won his fair share of the pill. Good find. 7
3 GCS Did some good things but a little wasteful with the footy. 5
4 WB Battled super hard against the tide. Always around the ball but lacked support. 6

11 Bris Disposal not always clean but worked tirelessly for his 30 disposals and 16 marks. 7
12 StK High proportion of disposals handballs and his kicks didn’t cause damage. 4

16 Adel Against former side he flitted in and out. Didn’t hurt the Crows to any degree. 5
17 WCE Rebounded from quiet week versus Crows to be a key player. Work-rate handy. 7
18 Syd Not his best effort. Ball use needed to be better and didn’t lay a single tackle. 4
19 Haw Did a reasonable job running with Mitchell. Disposal by foot is still an issue. 6
20 StK Latched onto Steven and effective in negating his influence. Unable to hurt going forward though. 6
21 Bris Sluggish in first half although he was responsible for Rich at times and succeeded at that. 5
22 Ill.
23 Ess Quietened Goddard after the main break and could have had more than one goal. 5
