6 Bris Relished a full game in the midfield, gathering 31 possessions and three goal assists. 9
7 WCE Showing the AFL world he could become an elite midfielder with eight clearances and nine inside-50’s. 8

17 NM Set up the win in the first term with three goals, two from marks inside-50, and the third a classic left snap around the body. 8
18 Melb Booted 1.3 then went off with what looked like a bad lower leg issue. Came back on, but didn’t last long. 5

21 Coll Relief for Hinkley to have one of his and the AFL’s best players back in the side, switch to the midfield has been a masterstroke. 8
22 WB Competed hard in front half, then was good around the footy in midfield. Dangerous late when game had to be won. 6
23 GCS Hobbled off in the third term only to return with three shots on goal, missing two and nailing the last shot. 6
EF WCE Got his hands on the footy enough in midfield, then went into attack. Missed snap in extra time will haunt him. 6

2016 Season

1 StK The hardest player in the AFL to contain for 120 minutes. Came to the fore when required. 8
2 Adel Taken off late in the game with hamstring tightness. 4

4 GWS Port’s most lively forward with 2.2. OK return from a hamstring injury. 4
5 Geel Mackie towelled him. Two kicks for the day. No goals. 1

7 Bris Returned from concussion with three goals, didn’t miss a beat. 7
8 Carl Still not back to his best after concussion. Looked a step off the pace early but better in third term. 4
9 WCE Three goals and six inside-50s, a great performance up forward. 7
10 Melb Back to near his best in attack. Allowed far too much space to work in and made Melbourne pay. 8
11 Coll Dangerous all day in attack. Feasted at the feet of Dixon and made Collingwood pay. 7
12 WB Two goals in two minutes late in the third term to give Port back the lead. 5

2015 Season

1 Frem Kicked two goals and had a big impact with his 20 touches. 6
2 Syd Quiet for three quarters until a big last term with 12 disposals. 5
3 NM Lively in opening exchanges then drifted out a bit. Good final term. 6
4 Haw Got the crowd jumping with the first goal of the game. 6
5 Adel Two goals, more than a handful for Brown. 6
6 WCE Had Wellingham for an opponent and took the honours. 6
7 Bris Blitzed until last change despite a heavy third-quarter collision. 7
8 Rich Two goals from four attempts, and two sublime assists. 6
9 Melb Booted two goals and came to the fore in second term onslaught. 6
10 WB His handball to create opportunities for his teammates are jaw dropping. 8
11 Geel A goal in each of the four quarters to go with nine inside-50s. Key performer. 8

1 Carl Efficiency down a little (55%) but his workrate was first class – 22 disp. 6

5 WCE Struggled to get into the game until late mark and goal. 4

7 GWS Held to four first-half touches, he lifted on the run home with three goals. 5
8 Frem Best on ground with five goals. Couldn’t be stopped. 9
10 Haw Another contender for goal of the year as he danced around two opponents. 7
11 Melb Minimal impact until being KO’d by Schulz in a marking contest. 2
12 StK Wow, another contender for Mark of the Year, and three goals. 8
13 Syd Booted two goals opposed to Smith and was a handful at times. 6

1 Melb Tracked by Watts and comprehensively got the points. Developing well. 7
2 GWS Kicked two and gave away another in five mins before three quarter-time. Vital. 6
3 Adel Kicked three goals in the last term to steer the Power to victory. 7
4 GCS Finished with three goals and was dangerous all night. 6
5 WCE The game breaker, his left foot can produce goals others can only dream about. 8
6 NM Potent young player who helped get Port back into game in second term. 7
7 Rich As skilful as he is on his left foot must learn to kick with his right boot. 6
8 Carl A rare talent. Used the ball well and was elusive as always. 7
9 Geel Really good. Kicked 0.3 but workrate and willingness to work was brilliant. 7
10 WB Proved a handful for Picken. Looked to be Port’s main hope of snatching the points. 7
12 GWS 21 first half possessions to set the game up. Ended with career-high numbers. 8
13 Syd Kicked three goals including a beautiful left foot curler in the last quarter. 7
14 Coll Two goals for a player destined to become an All-Australian in 2013. 7
15 Ess Continued to press for All-Australian honours at half forward. Gave Fletcher fits. 6
16 Haw Always plays well and continues to push for All-Australian selection. 6
17 StK All class and never wasted a possession. Strong second half when others tapered. 7
18 Bris Kicked the only goal in the last term to secure the win for the Power. 6
19 Adel Showdown medallist with five goals, seven inside 50s and three clearances. 9
20 Geel Just one goal but won 11 cont. poss and four clearances. Tried hard. 6
21 GCS Kicked first two goals of the last term to kick-start the Power to victory. 7
22 Frem Had plenty of the ball before hurting his thigh and subbed off in third term. 4
23 Carl Kicked his usual goal of the week contender but looks to be playing injured. 5

1 StK Showed plenty on his AFL debut for the Port faithful to get excited about. 6
2 Ess Copped knock in second term and subbed off at half time. 3
3 Syd Showed great vision at one point to kick across body to find a team mate. 3
4 Coll Thrown into game in final term for only 21 minutes – four disposals. 2
5 Adel Withstood some heavy knocks and played on courageously. 6
8 NM Had four inside 50s from just 10 disposals but was lively. 5
9 GCS Good outing. Showed a few good glimpses and won his own ball. 5
10 Carl First year player gets better with every game, also kicked a goal. 6
11 Haw Needs to tidy up his peripheral vision otherwise he may get seriously hurt. 4
12 WB Injected late but only two kicks. 1
14 Geel Kicked one nice goal but not really a factor playing mostly forward. 3
15 Adel Subbed out of the game in the third term after making no impact. 2
16 Ess Came on as the sub in the third term and is struggling to find the footy. 2
17 Melb Talented youngster but needs to play more team oriented game at times. 5
18 Frem Not afraid when it is his turn to put his head over the footy. 6
19 GWS Started well and loomed as a handful, but he couldn’t keep it up. 3
