1 Bris Could not get into the match, his only highlight being hitting the scoreboard in the first quarter. 2
2 GWS Did a good job running with Scully overall. GWS dominated the game, but he can hold his head high. 6
3 Haw Set up plenty of goals (4 score assists) and put the ball inside 50 seven times, 6
4 Carl Had some handy touches and is starting to cement his place in the Suns’ best 22. 6
5 Adel Just OK, and defensive pressure acts were down on usual output. 4
6 NM Big second quarter and was good for most of the night but faded at the end. 6
7 Geel Two goals, eight inside-50s and plenty of run and link play forward of centre. Another good effort from underrated player. 7
8 Port Made some bad decisions in first half going forward and confidence seemed to drop. Poor outing. 3

10 Melb Kicked a nice late goal, but too little too late. 4
11 WCE Excellent playing a high half forward role, though did miss a couple of opportunities. 7
12 Haw Quiet game. Didn’t hit the scoreboard, had six kicks and laid one tackle. Needs to London Fog and lift. 3
13 Carl Booted a clever goal early on and almost took mark of the year. Just OK. 4
14 StK Bobbed up occasionally without great impact. 4
15 NM Great pressure all night and his strong running was rewarded with two goals. 7
16 Syd With 24 disposals you can't question his effort, just none of what he did mattered in the long run. 5
17 Coll Super defensive performance on Elliott, restricting him to just one goal. 7
18 WB A ‘meh’ effort. Not sure what he brings to the table at the top level. 3
19 Rich Did not finish the match after being crunched in marking contest in the second quarter. 2
20 Frem Had the most metres gained for the team and kicked two goals. 7
21 Bris Got plenty of the ball but no match for Taylor who easily among the Lions’ best. 5

2016 Season

1 Ess Booted a goal and pushed back to help the defence. 6
2 Frem One of the better players because of his clean work forward of centre. 7
3 Carl Nippy across half forward whilst holding opponent at bay. 5
4 Bris Job well done when minding Taylor and also kicked two goals. 7
5 NM Not a great night as he turned the footy over constantly. 3
6 Geel Led team in disposals forward of centre and kicked two goals in second term. One of best. 6
7 Melb Copped a suspected broken arm in second quarter to prematurely end his night. 1

11 Syd Good return from injury. Injected a bit of spark into forward line. 5
12 Rich Used across half back at times but unable to offer any sort of positive rebound 2
14 Haw Used at half back on Breust for long periods and did that job well. Among best. 7

16 Bris Booted two goals and provided nuisance value as a high half forward. 5
17 WB Faded out of the game after a promising start on the wing. 5
18 Frem Played a telling role nullifying Hill and was damaging with the footy. 8
19 Melb Shadowed N Jones for long periods and did that job effectively. Handy. 7
20 GWS Struggled with injury throughout but to his credit fought on until 3rd quarter. 4

22 Coll Spent time opposed to Treloar and Pendlebury and others. Unable to curtail any of them. 4
23 Port Booted a goal and was a good contributor across four quarters. 5

2015 Season

1 Melb One goal but in the end club might have been better to go with Matera. 3
2 StK Rarely sighted. 2
3 Didn’t play in Gold Coast reserves.
4 GWS Ran with Whitfield until Giant was subbed. OK without being great. 4
5 Bris Really attacked the contest and took plenty of big hits. 4
6 Adel Probably his best game to date. Tackled hard and attacked the contest. 6
7 WCE Only Bennell had more inside 50s. Just didn’t see enough footy. 4
8 Coll Played a shutdown role on Seedsman and did it well. Excellent pressure. 7
9 Haw No significant impact. 3

13 Carl Like many didn’t win enough ball to worry Blues. Is he up to it? 3

1 PM Pretty good in midfield for the Suns. -
2 NEAFL Was good in the midfield as he provided plenty of clearances. -

6 NEAFL Copped a knock and missed a fair chunk of the game. -
7 NEAFL Showed some good signs. Run seems to be returning. -

9 StK Sub came on in third term for Lemmens. 1
10 WB Late inclusion who did some nice things. 4
11 Adel Four inside-50’s and four tackles in the forward half. 4
12 NEAFL Worked hard but it didn’t quite work for him. -
