2017 Season

1 Melb Started extremely well and had 15 touches in first half but then ran out of steam. 5
2 WCE Most of his disposals were handballs. Would have liked to have generated more run. 5
3 Bris Quiet day until a few late flashes. Needs to get more of the ball in midfield. 3
4 Coll Found space in midfield and forward and kicked incisively, although his finishing was astray (1.4) 7
5 Geel Disposal and decision making isn’t at level you’d expect from a No. 3 draft pick. One clearance, two tackles and three inside-50s. 4
6 Haw Radar was awry with three early misses but found ball well enough. 20 possessions. Drifted out a touch late. 6
7 GWS Two first-half goals and was lively throughout playing half-forward role. Ended with 2.3 and could have kicked four. 8
8 Carl A coming of age performance. Nearly the difference with 30 touches and five goals. His conversion was elite. 9
9 Syd Productive game again with 32 touches in midfield and attack. 6
10 WB Promising start but then it was harder to find the ball and had quietest game for a while. 4
11 Bye.

16 Rich Quieter game but still creative. Only four kicks to go with 15 handballs. 5
17 Ess OK game without having influence of recent weeks. 4
18 Syd Worked hard, but kicking efficiency slipped back at times. 5
19 Port A reasonable game but like others missed some gettable shots. 5
20 WCE Kicked the deciding clutch goal at the end after a strong second half. 7
21 Melb One of the Saints best despite playing most of the game with one eye closed over. 7
22 NM Had another good game, but yet again could have capped it off with better kicking for goal. 7
23 Rich Worked hard and won plenty of the ball (28 disposals) but poor kicking continues to thwarts his efforts. Two goals. 6
