1 Syd Expect nothing less than a wire-to-wire effort highlighted by 33 disposals and nine clearances. 8
2 Frem Best on ground performance, winning contested possessions, clearances and kicking goals. 9
3 Adel Easily Port’s best for the game and season so far, this could be the year he elevates himself to greatness. 8
4 GWS Just the two clearances to go with his 19 possessions. Not his best outing this year but tried hard. 6
5 Carl Went head to head with Patrick Cripps, and had more contributions from his teammates which got on the end of his grunt work. 8
6 Bris Reasonably well held and quite inefficient with his disposals, going at 50%. 4
7 WCE Down from previous weeks, copped two heavy knocks, one on the leg and the other across the head in a bruising tackle. 6
8 GCS Provided the grunt work in middle without being at his absolute best. Still a good contributor. 7
9 Bye.
10 Geel Superb effort highlight eight tackles six clearances 31 disposals. Can he win the Brownlow – certainly in the mix. 9
11 Haw Not best game for the year but provided some run and was tough in and around the ball. Highlight was 10 clearances. 7
12 Ess Okay start, then hobbled in second term with knee issue, but returned. Tried, but not his best. 6
13 Bris Port Adelaide’s best with two goals from four attempts, gave off two more goals and had six inside-50’s. 8
14 Coll Despite having left knee tapped like Moss Trooper he was all over the place with 23 possessions and seven inside-50s. 8
15 Rich Hard to be critical when you when you win ten clearances but looked tired in the second half. 7
16 WCE Hard at the footy. Won eight clearances among his 28 touches and one goal. 8
17 NM Great performance in his milestone game with seven clearances, three inside-50’s and a goal. 7
18 Melb Went head to head with Viney and worked hard. His mate had the better of the duel though. 6
19 StK Solid on ball and in attack. Good even game across four quarters. 6
20 Adel Won eight clearances and two inside-50’s, but not enough to hurt the Crows midfield. 6
21 Coll Could be in trouble with a bump against Tom Langdon, apart from that led from the front with nine clearances and a goal. 8
22 WB Won plenty of the pill in midfield battle and relished the cold conditions. Nine clearances. 8
23 GCS Won 16 contested possessions, the highest of any player on the ground. 8
EF WCE Just one kick in the first half but then got the motor pumping and was very good in final stanza. 7

2016 Season

1 StK Won eight clearances and bulldozed his way to a valuable goal in the third term. 7
2 Adel Didn’t stop trying, pushed forward for two goals and had nine inside-50s. 7
3 Ess Nine tackles, six clearances and a goal, a powerful performance. 7
4 GWS Impressive work-rate – 11 contested possessions and five tackles. 6
5 Geel Battled hard in the midfield. Missed two shots in third quarter that deflated team. 6
6 Rich Bullocking effort around the stoppages and laid seven strong tackles. 6
7 Bris Stood tall against the Lions dominance in the first term. 8
8 Carl Slogged it out in midfield to keep Port moving in the right direction. One of the best on the day. 7
9 WCE Always in and under, a hard man to stop when he is burrowing through. 7
10 Melb Worked into the game after a slow start to play solid role in midfield battle. 6
11 Coll Conditions suited his in and under style and used his strong body to advantage at the stoppages. 7
12 WB Seven tackles, six hit-outs as the third man up, and a goal rounded out his game. 7
13 Frem Up and down. Won contested ball when others didn’t. 6

2015 Season

1 Frem Two goals from 27 disposals. Started brilliantly. 7

3 NM Bashed in and caused damage to Ziebell. Injured arm/wrist late and was subbed. 6

3 NM Got enough of it but used the ball poorly more often than not. 5
4 Bris Midfield powerhouse had seven clearances; three inside 50s and a goal. 7
5 WCE Didn’t put up big numbers but was a willing worker at the stoppages. 6
6 Geel Only five of his 24 disposals were kicks – 12 contested possessions. 7
7 GWS Only used ball at 50 per cent efficiency, but his toughness still critical. 6
8 Frem Busy all day. Kept winning the hard ball and also kicked a goal. 7
10 Haw Unassuming role but winning plenty of touches and had seven tackles. 7
11 Melb Scrappy by foot despite finding the ball well. Not his best effort. 4

1 Melb Super debut and looks a future star. Excellent in close and pushed forward hard. 7
2 GWS Didn’t begin well but improved as game wore on. 5
3 Adel First-year player looks like a seasoned veteran, winning five clearances. 7
4 GCS The kid oozes class and has the Rising Star in his grasp. 7
5 WCE Continues to defy his age with powerful displays. 6
6 NM Solid contribution from the youngster. 5
7 Rich Receiving much more attention but still had three clearances and five inside 50s. 6
8 Carl Showed plenty of spirit and ran the game out well. Has a huge future. 6
9 Geel Great game. Won 11 contested possessions and three clearances. 6
10 WB Trudged on bravely in midfield but season appears to be catching up with him. 4
12 GWS Hard worker around the ball, but efficiency was down. 5
13 Syd Four clearances and three inside 50s for the boom recruit. 6
14 Coll Started as the sub but played three full quarters and impressed. Huge final term. 7
