1 Coll Contested strongly as the only recognised ruckman in the side but overwhelmed and giving away frees by the end. 3
2 Syd Apart from one screamer and goal he was really quiet. Five effective disposals. 2
3 Frem A vastly improved game on his first two weeks. Had a presence around the ground with 17 disposals. 6
4 NM Head clash forced him from field in first term and did not return. One disposal. 0
5 Bris One kick for one goal in first half. Okay third term but then drifted out of the game again late. Form a concern for coach. 3
6 GWS Mumford tried to get under his skin and struggled. Had chance to win game late but shanked set-sot for goal. 3
7 Rich Went into orthodox ruck role in second quarter and had an impact after half time 6
8 WCE Some good steps in the ruck. Won 34 hit-outs. No marks though. 5
9 Geel Big man threatened at times with two goals and some towering contested marks. Good effort playing No. 1 ruck. 7
10 StK Low key job around the field, but kicked strong goal in final term. Longer outdid he and Roughead in ruck duels 4

13 Melb Struggled. Four kicks, one goal and very little presence around the ground. Where to from here? 3

2016 Season

1 Frem Got his hands to plenty of marks, but could hold on to most. Goalkicking was hit and miss. 4
2 StK Kicked three goals, provided a presence in attack. Bulldog fans will be thrilled with improvement. 6
3 Haw Worked well in the ruck but limited impact up forward. Just the one goal. 6
4 Carl Really quiet in ruck or up forward. Form has to be a concern. Appeared to injury arm/wrist late. 2

11 VFL OK without starring in return from injury. Will need to find form quickly. -
12 VFL Six marks (two contested) but no goals rotating forward and midfield. -
13 VFL Three goals and two solid contested marks a handy return. Didn’t dominate though. -

15 VFL Shrugged off controversy to kick four goals from three marks in tough conditions. -
16 VFL Tried hard but six effective disposals isn’t going to get it done. One goal. -
17 GCS Did some good things up forward and in the ruck. 4
18 StK Few touches in first half. Guaranteed of spot now Redpath gone. 3
19 Geel Three goals and competed hard up forward despite the presence of Lonergan. 6
20 NM Couldn’t fire in attack but stiff to have one mark disallowed. 3
21 Coll Swapping from ruck to forward with Roughead. Not a big impact. 3
22 Ess Picked up by Hartley initially. Did plenty of rucking and was satisfactory. 5
23 Frem Hurt his ankle early. Came back on but had limited impact. 4
EF WCE No goals but provided a strong contest in attack and was handy in ruck stints. 6
SF Haw Frawley picked him up early. Happy to feed ball out to runners. Solid game. 6
PF GWS When Roughead injured in first term he was right on the line and responded well. 6
GF Syd Came of age in remarkable manner with strong marking and work in the ruck. Three goals too. 9

2015 Season

1 WCE Kicked a key goal in final term after a quiet opening three quarters. 4
2 Rich Beaten by Rance. Learning curve continues but all good experience. 2
3 Haw Three nice goals on Lake who was outclassed at times. A real positive. 5
4 Adel Talia matched up on him. Couple of goals and had run in ruck 4
5 Syd Stats modest but fact he contributed two goals in the wet was pivotal. 5
6 StK Towering early, but goalkicking was Cloke-like. Drifted from the game. 3
7 Frem Got the better of A.Pearce in the end and is growing with each week. 6
8 Melb Didn’t have a kick and subbed out in third term. 1
9 GWS Creating contests first half and is progressing well. 4
10 Port In no-man’s land at the moment, a spell in the reserves is on the cards. 1
12 Bris On Clarke and scored two goals in first term. Four goals for the day. 7
13 StK Delaney made things tight. Bagged a goal but needs work on ruck play. 3
14 Knee.
15 GCS Barely sighted in attack. 2
16 Geel Lonergan dominated him. Three marks, no goals. 2
17 VFL Goalless in shock loss to Coburg. -
18 VFL Kicked three goals and was a good target inside 50. -
19 VFL Kicked three goals despite being doubled teamed most of day. -
20 VFL Proved to be the matchwinner with five big goals. -
21 VFL Unable to impact the contest in attack or the ruck. -
22 VFL Just one goal from seven marks in attack. -
23 Rested.
EF VFL Booted two goals but took just two marks. -

2014 Season

1 PM Kicked four goals opposed to Xavier Richards. What a talent! -
2 NEAFL Tried hard in his first NEAFL game and will only get better with experience. -
3 NEAFL Struggled with conditions on a soggy afternoon. -
4 NEAFL Big presence up forward, kicked three. -
5 Adel Forgettable AFL debut for the No.1 draft pick. 3
6 GCS Subbed off in third quarter after having no impact. 1
7 NEAFL Quiet after being dropped, Kicked a goal. -
8 Senior emergency.
9 NEAFL Bye. -
10 NEAFL Quiet game from last years’ top draft pick. 11 touches. -
11 NEAFL Kicked a season-high four goals. -
12 NEAFL Backed up last week’s four goals with another four. -
13 NEAFL 11 hitouts and two goals – has ten in last three games. -
14 Carl Kicked his first senior goal and showed signs he is adjusting to this level. 5
15 NEAFL Colours lowered to Roberts-Thomson. Kicked one. -
16 NEAFL Solid enough and kicked a couple of goals. -
17 NEAFL One of his better games, kicked two and presented strongly. -
18 Geel Hardly sighted until final term when grabbed two huge marks for two goals. 4
19 Rich Gave Chaplin a few issues and ended with two goals. 5
20 NM Grima had his measure for much of the day and struggled to get into it. 2
21 Melb Flitted in and out but pretty well held by Dunn then Frawley. One great goal. 4
22 Coll Just the one goal opposed to Frost. Wasn’t able to impact the game. 3
23 WB Minimal impact but had hand in game winning goal with contest and handball. 3
