2017 Season

1 -
2 Geel Only six effective disposals and a goal but certainly showed enough to suggest he just needs more game time. 4
3 GWS Just two kicks in the first half but got more involved thereafter and kicked a consolation goal. 5
4 WB Looks a real player. Ended with seven marks, a goal and 21 disposals. Plays taller than he is. 6
5 Frem May have taken mark of the year. The grab will be shown for a long time. 6
6 GCS Active on half forward line and strong hands were once again an asset. 6
7 Hamstring.
8 Hamstring.
9 Melb Good second half after quiet early. Jagged goals in third and fourth quarters to help keep Dees at bay. 5
10 Carl Made the most of his opportunities with three goals from seven touches. Has some x-factor. 6
11 Rich Struggled all night. Fumbled when it did come his way. Eight kicks and no goals then appeared to cop a knock late. 3
12 Bye.
13 StK Could have worked harder and was invisible in first half. 3
14 WB Early goal but that was about the end of his contribution. Ended night with eight disposals but effort was certainly not lacking. 3
15 GCS Lively in attack though was a little wasteful with his opportunities (0.3). 6
16 Frem Had 15 touches, but missed too many targets to be an effective performer at half forward. 4
17 Port The boy has talent, needs to find more of the footy but makes his presence around the stoppages known with his strong tackling. 6
18 Ess Hot early when North Melbourne controlled the air had 10 marks including a courageous one back with the flight with Hurley bearing down. 6
19 Melb Took some nice marks, but missed a sitter in third term. Great run down tackle on Oliver in last quarter a momentum setter. 6
20 Coll He gets a bonus point for kicking North’s second goal with 8:30 to go in the third quarter. That sentence epitomises the game. 4
21 Haw Kicked two nice goals and his best is x-factor worthy. Just not enough of it. 5
22 StK Does some genuinely brilliant things at times but not enough of it. 5
23 Foot.
