3 Port His run in the second term to set up Andy Otten for a goal will be replayed over and over again. 6
4 Ess Eight inside-50’s and a wonderful snap from forty metres out for a goal. 6
5 GCS Floated across half forward, finishing with two goals and two goal assists. 6
6 Rich Didn’t have many disposals but the ones he did were deadly, two goals from three attempts and two goal assists. 6
7 NM Unsighted in first half other than a goal from a down-field free. A bit better after main break but not his best. 4
8 Melb Just couldn’t get himself in the game, tried to use his speed on occasions but run into a wall of Demons defenders. 4

QF GWS Burst through from time to time, but disposal left a bit to be desired. 4
PF Geel Huge effort. Took a screamer and jagged five goals. Sheeesh. 9
GF Rich Injured early but returned. Of the forwards he was one of the better ones which says something because he wasn’t a star. 5

2016 Season

1 SANFL Failed to register a goal but forward pressure was good. -
2 SANFL Exploded late but looked lost for first three quarters. -
3 SANFL Back to form with four-goal haul. Speed and tackling were first rate. -
4 SANFL Bye. -
5 Haw Part of damaging small brigade early, but then quelled. 4
6 Frem On another day could have had a bag, ended up with none, his form graph is rising. 5
7 WB Only goal came deep in final term. Showed glimpse of his speed and did lay nine tackles. 4
8 Geel His tenacity and pace was electrifying, needs teammates to follow suit. 7
9 GCS Worked hard to keep the ball inside 50, laying seven tackles. 5
10 GWS His pace coming off the back of the square was electrifying. 6
11 StK Two goals and three inside-50s but always looks dangerous with ball in hand. 5
12 WCE The perfect partner for Betts. Bobbed up at some key times. 5
14 NM Laid eight tackles and used his pace to electrifying effect on several occasions. 5
15 Melb Great game. Provided run and was broke the lines for four inside-50s. 7
16 Carl Couldn’t get into the game to any great degree. No goals from six kicks. 2
17 Coll Created first goal of the game with his speed and carry, hardly sighted after that. 4
18 Geel Missed three chances at goal and that hurt overall effort. Injured knee late. 5
19 Ess Did his best to match Betts in the goal kicking department, finished with four majors. 7

EF NM Started brilliantly and while faded out of game he showed glimpses of speed. 5
