1 Rich Key back on Griffiths and did some really good things. Knows how to get into good spots and has courage. 7
2 Melb Along with Macreadie, did some super-impressive things in defence. This is one trade that already looks a big winner. 6
3 Ess Battled Hooker and while wet conditions suited defenders he was a solid contributor all afternoon. 5
4 GCS Okay at stages in the back half, then drifted further afield late, but missed set shot for his first league major. 6
5 Port Repelled many Port Adelaide attacks but couldn’t stop the tsunami of inside-50’s. 5
6 Syd Great effort from the youngster. Ability to combine attack and defence and know when to do right thing is impressive. 8
7 Coll Clean hands overhead secured him nine marks and 21 possessions, in defence and later thrown forward. 7
8 StK Started slowly but worked into the contest after quarter time. Pulled down 10 marks and displayed a heap of courage. 7
9 Frem Solid effort and stuck to his task in defence. 5
10 NM Displayed usual intercept marking capabilities and used the pill particularly well. Coming along nicely in the back half. 6
