2017 Season

2	Adel	Good effort in defence from a player still learning his craft. Tried to attack when he could from the back half.	7
3	GCS	Built on last week’s efforts with another solid outing. Rare bright spot.	6
4	Geel	Youngster’s reasonable run of form continued. Had Cockatoo at times and managed to grab 19 disposals.	6
5	WCE	Handy enough across half back. Slowly growing into the role at the top level.	6
6	StK	Used at half back again. No impact with rebounding and had a tough time tracking opponents.	4
7	Melb	Young defender again played his part in another fine performance given often gives away height and weight to opponents.	6
8	Bris	Started slow but eventually turned in a huge performance. So poised with the ball in hand moving forward. Went at 88 per cent.	7
9	Coll	Had the job on Elliott early and provided drive from defence with 17 disposals at 82 per cent efficiency.	6
10	Syd	Firming as the rising star favorite after another strong performance in the back half	7
11	Port	Again stood out as one of the better Hawks. Scoreboard overwhelmed his effort but it was a solid one; 25 possessions.	7
12	GCS	Among the Hawks’ better players again in defence. Works hard to provide an option offensively while defending at same time.	7

14	Adel	Pushed forward for two big goals at the end of the third term to give the Hawks the lead and did the job on Walker as well.	8
15	Coll	Youngster’s run of good form continued. Racked up 29 possessions in what should see him shorten for Rising Star.	8
16	GWS	Wasn’t his best game for the year but still solid and a got bet for Rising Star this year. Got a modern footballer's body.	5
17	Geel	Great again. Poise and calm off half back. In final term was able to keep Dangerfield off the scoresheet in final term.	6
18	Frem	Had enough of the ball but wasn’t as good as he’s been.	6
19	Syd	21 disposals on the night down back, made life tough for the Swans.	7
20	Rich	Not as productive as he’s been. Might be getting a little tired. Not horrendous; 18 disposals.	5
21	NM	No more doubt on the Rising Star award – lock it in. 26 disposals and damaging. Looks like a rising leader and very composed.	7
22	Carl	Great running 3rd term goal. Provided his usual dash from the back half and was pivotal in getting the Hawks going after a slow start.	7
23		Foot.

3	VFL	Used as a sweeper in the back half and was fair. Good to see him out there.	-

23	Coll	Kid did well down back and grew in confidence as the game wore on.	6
QF	Geel	Picked up Stanley when he was resting. Off with a calf problem second term.	2
