4 Ess Reads the game so well for a player who is yet to play 40 games. 7
5 GCS Stuck to the task on Wright and kept him goalless. 6
6 Rich Intercept marking and attack on the footy as good as anyone in the game. 7
7 NM Was the best of the Roos tall backs on a day when they were continually left to fend for themselves. 6

9 Bris Another who saw plenty of action but only half of his (21) touches were effective. 7
10 Frem Mopped up everything which came his way, the Crows best player in a night of many powerful performances. 9
11 Geel Best defender on the night with his capacity to play hard and defend when the flow was going against. 7
12 StK The Crows must get his signature on paper NOW! Reads the play as good as anyone and only has eyes for the ball. 8

14 Haw Dragged out wide by Gunston which left the Crows exposed in the middle of defence. 5
15 Carl Had to work hard all game on the athletic Charlie Curnow, honours even. 6
16 WB Put a few more zero’s on his contract with a masterful display across halfback, intercept marking a highlight. 8
17 Melb Mixed up his matchups in defence. Intercepted well early, but then off with what looked like a hammy. Big blow. 4

20 Port Reads the play as well as anyone playing the game, not tested in defence. 7
21 Ess Accomplished defender whose certainty and judgment showed why he is being pursued by other clubs. 6
22 Syd His ability to spoil the footy in a crowded pack is remarkable. 6
23 WCE A typical Lever game. Took some nice marks and read the ball well. 7
QF GWS Relished the way GWS brought the ball into attack in first half. Spoilt aerial balls with ease. 7
PF Geel Played a key role down back; 14 of his 15 possessions hit the target. 6
GF Rich Last game for club? Was negated by Townsend and while tried hard the weight of ball was telling. 5

2016 Season

Played for : Adelaide

1 NM Took Waite who got away at times early but his second half was strong. 6
2 Port Never panics, and consistently thwarted wave after wave of Port Adelaide attacks. 7
3 Rich Youngster read the play well to support fellow defenders. Going well. 6
4 Syd Showed great composure in the final minutes to baulk instead of blazing away. 5
5 Haw Did his job matched on Sicily. 5
6 Frem On the end of a heavy knock where he hurt his shoulder, did return to play. 6
7 WB Quiet one from the kid who didn’t influence the flow of the game to any great degree. 4
8 Geel Never shirked a contest and worked well in tandem with Talia. 5
9 GCS Solid in defence and even managed to have a shot on goal. 6
10 GWS His intercept marking and reading of the play was again exquisite. 6
11 StK Took McCartin out of the game and racked up plenty touches at will in defence. 7
12 WCE No fuss about his game. Just did the little things right. 5
14 NM Composure under pressure and intercept marking are elite. 6
15 Melb Injured early but returned to play his role. Quiet one but defensively OK. 3
16 Carl Took Silvagni and had the kid covered. Did his job with some steadiness. 6
17 Coll Along with Talia, two of the best young defenders in the AFL. 7
18 Geel Did well at times sweeping across half back. No star but did what he could. 5
19 Ess Good contest with Laverde, got caught wrong-footed for his two goals. 6
20 Bris Had his hands full with Hipwood, but always clever with the footy in hand. 7
21 Frem Pushed forward for a goal. Enjoyed it too. 6
22 Port Good match-up on Westhoff, both players shared the spoils. 6
23 WCE Unexplainable performance, turnovers and nervous with the footy in hand. 4
EF NM Kicked a goal and did what was required down back. Solid throughout. 5
SF Syd Injured ankle in second term. Tried to return but didn’t play second half. 1

2015 Season

1 Bye.
2 SANFL Started quietly but overall had a decent game in defence. -
3 SANFL Provided rebound and positive intent in fine display in defence . -
4 SANFL Very impressive across half-back, particularly damaging early. -
5 SANFL Immaculate as plus-one defender before exiting late with cramps. -
6 GCS Composed in defence on debut and accumulated plenty of possessions. 6
7 StK Kept Hickey to one goal in his debut at the Adelaide Oval. 5
8 GWS Got the better of an inaccurate Stewart. Going well. 6
9 Frem Playing like a seasoned professional. Looks an inspired draft selection. 7
10 Ankle.

13 SANFL Didn't miss a beat as intercepting defender in return from injury. -
15 WCE Had his head cut open but kept working. 5
16 Port Had to contend with resting ruckmen when they pushed forward. 5
17 GCS Plays beyond his years, never panics and looks comfortable with the footy. 7
18 Syd Effective job on Reid after being blitzed early by Tippett. 5
19 Rich Conceded first goal of the game to Maric and then dominated his position. 6
20 Ess Showed great courage and willingness to get involved. Looks a player. 5

22 WCE Did the job on Hill and rebounded with confidence. 7
23 Geel Kid found the going tough down back. Never a factor in any phase. 2
