2012 Season

Played for : Gold Coast

1 Adel Was the more reliable of the key defenders tonight. 4
2 StK Task on Riewoldt but was moved. Struggled with or without the ball. 3
3 Ess Good battle with Hurley all night and would be happy with his efforts. 5
4 Bris OK on Brown to half time. Then struggled as did the entire backline. 5
5 NM Battled well and held his own against with Edwards and Petrie. 5
6 Frem Put in a huge effort in defence, particularly with Bock injured. 7
7 GWS Great game marking and mopping up, also helped curb dangerous Cameron. 7
8 WB Got the better of Jones but the slippery conditions aided his cause. 6
9 Port Defended fairly well on Schulz but the weight of ball told in the end. 5
10 Coll Only Cloke’s inaccuracy saved him. One effort late versus Thomas was poor. 3
11 StK Outgunned by tall Saint forwards. 3
12 NM Has been a great acquisition for the Suns and was solid down back again. 6
14 WCE Tough day for a key defender as the ball kept coming in. 4
15 Geel Started on Brown then went to Hawkins who got away. Kept plugging away. 4
16 Rich Stood Riewoldt and had his hands full for much of the time. 3
17 Bris Did a terrific job on Brown, continuing his fine season. 7
18 Syd Has been a shining light for the Suns in defence, giving his all every week. 7
19 Melb Ok defensively on Rivers so from that perspective did his job. 5
20 GWS Another excellent display in defence. Rarely gets a goal kicked on him. 7
21 Haw Matched on Roughead. 4
22 Carl Another excellent defensive effort. Arguably recruit of the year. 6
23 Adel Had the job on Kurt Tippett and kept him to one goal. 6
