2014 Digest:   The midfielder has built an aura of being indestructible. Highly talented in his own right, but has also carried out major shutdown roles for the Swans in the biggest games. Just turned 33 but shows no signs of slowing and has been good in the NAB challenge.

4 Geel Tried to go with Selwood but given a lesson. Kept battling himself. 5

7 Haw Matched to Hodge early but hammered. Kicked two goals and kept battling. 5
8 Frem Had his usual influence in the middle, but didn't have an impact forward of the centre. 5
9 Coll Copped hit to shoulder early and had demanding role on Pendlebury. 5
10 Ess Had the run-with role on Watson and didn’t let him dominate. 5
11 Adel Totally outpointed Thompson, tackled hard and created a lot himself. 8

5 Haw Played a crucial role in cutting off key playmakers and also winning ball. 6
6 Adel Stepped up when needed and close to his best form. 6
7 Rich Another who played well in the third quarter but lacked his usual impact. 5
8 Melb Sensational first half and set pattern for aggression and will to win. Great. 8
