Played for : Port Adelaide

1 Syd Great effort from an underrated forward. Three goals were critical given the tightness of the contest. 7
2 Frem Could have been a big game but ended with one goal from his four attempts. 5
3 Adel Usually plays well in Showdowns, wasn’t sighted. 2
4 GWS Made the most of his chances at stages, but yet to have the same impact as he had last season. 4
5 Carl Two goals and two scoring assists, needs to find more consistency across half forward. 5
6 Bris Plenty of defensive pressure with six tackles, though offered little offensive threat. 3
7 WCE Improving slowly, but not hitting the scoreboard as a forward could be costly to his first team chances moving forward. 4

9 SANFL Back in the SANFL, relished a run in the midfield, racking up 22 disposals.
10 Geel One goal and got involved at times but didn’t create a constant headache for the Cats; 11 disposals but no tackles. 3
11 Haw Didn’t kick a goal from nine kicks but got better longer than game went. Four inside-50s and three tackles. 4
12 SANFL Had an absolute field day with five goals, 36 disposals and 13 inside 50s.
13 Bris Rewarded Ken Hinkley’s faith with two goals but needs to find more of the footy to cement his spot. 5
14 Coll Quiet first half (four touches) and 12 for the match. Didn’t hit the scoreboard and laid just three tackles. 3
15   Senior emergency.  
16 SANFL Port’s match-winner with 33 disposals, eight tackles and a goal. Cracking performance.
17 SANFL Continued his good form with 23 disposals, six tackles and a goal. A gun at this level.
18 SANFL With 34 disposals and 11 tackles, is a consistently dominant SANFL force. Now to do the same at the next level.
19 StK Kicked late goal which kept Port alive. Not a big factor apart from that. 4
20 Adel Dismal performance in the midfield, wasn’t alone. 3
21 SANFL Fine response to AFL axe with 28 touches and two majors. Needs to do it more at the next level.
22 SANFL At his damaging, creative best with three goals and a game-high 30 disposals.
23 SANFL Enjoyed a scintillating third term. With 21 disposals, seven tackles and a goal, was a driving force through the middle.

2016 Season

1 SANFL Worked super hard for his 26 touches, nine clearances in the middle.
2 Adel Made the most of his recall with four goals in the second half. 8
3 Ess Another three goals to add to the four he produced in the previous week. 6
4 GWS Creative effort up forward in the first half, but battled after the main break. 3
5 Geel Played at half forward but couldn’t get into the game at all. Four kicks. One inside-50s. 3
6 Rich Again hit the scoreboard as a hard working half forward with two majors. Going well. 6
7 Bris The Power’s most improved player in 2016. 7
8 Carl Bobbed up again with a goal and was industrious in the front half. One Port player going OK. 6
9 WCE Another four goals, the surprise packet of the season. 8
10 Melb Continued great start to year with another two goals and strong gut-running. 6
11 Coll Kicked another four goals. Must be the biggest improver in the competition this season. 8
12 WB Another two goals, easily Port Adelaide’s find of the season. 7
13 Frem Couldn’t play at his best from recent weeks. 5
15 Rich Tackling machine, kept the footy in the Power forward 50 constantly. 6
16 Haw Not one of his better games for the season, didn’t trouble the scoresheet. 4
17 NM Covered plenty of ground starting from the forward line. 7
18 GWS Surprisingly didn’t trouble the scoresheet, played higher up the ground. 4
19 Bris Wasteful in front of goal with 1.5. Could have had a huge night out. 6
20 Syd Got a bit of the ball pushing up the ground, but went goalless for fourth time in past seven matches. 5
21 Melb Two goals but little else. 5
22 Adel Great tussle with Cheney, and responded with three crucial goals. 6
23 GCS Dangerous in attack though wasted some opportunities. 5

2015 Season

2 SANFL Influential in Port's dominant midfield with 22 touches and a goal.
3 NM Kicked goal to put Port ahead late and did some good things in midfield. 6
4 Haw Making the most of his opportunity due to the absence of Wines. 7
5 Adel Not as impressive as previous weeks, always tries hard. 4
6 WCE Subbed out in the third term. 4
7 SANFL Was in everything with 31 possessions, nine clearances and a goal.
8 SANFL Bye.
9 SANFL Pressing hard for AFL gig. 22 disposals, 11 tackles, two goals.
10 WB Started as the sub and collected heavily as soon as he came on. 4
11 Geel Sub. Not able to influence the game after replacing White for second half. 1

13 SANFL Laid eight tackles and kicked a goal. Had his moments.
14 SANFL Match postponed.
15 SANFL Made a few blues but ace in the clinches. 11 tackles, 11 clearances.
16 Adel Started as the sub but given little time to shine. 3

2014 Season

1   Shoulder.  
2   Senior emergency.  
3 SANFL With 28 disposals and 13 clearances, was dynamic in losing cause.
4 Bris Came on as the substitute and kicked a goal. 3
5 WCE Sub. Had a few touches in the final term after coming on. 2
6 Geel Copped big hit from Bartel but returned. Tough in and under effort. 5
7 GWS Settling in nicely to the midfield, had six inside-50s and five clearances. 6
8 Frem Subbed on in the last term and kicked a goal. Can’t ask for more. 3
10 Haw Started as the sub and saw limited game time. 2
11 Melb Led up well across half forward when others were well held. 6
12 StK Crunched a couple of times but bounced back to finish the game strongly. 6
13 Syd Sub. On at half time for Hartlett and won his fair share of ball. 4
14 WB Started as the SUB and saw minimal game time in the fourth quarter. 3
15 SANFL Responded to AFL axe with contested footy exhibition. 36 touches.

17 Rich Gave a bit of run but wasn’t able to have a massive impact. 4

4 SANFL Good again with 23 possessions and a goal.
5 Adel Only four disposals but did set up a goal on his AFL debut. 3
6 Rich Kicked his first AFL goal in only his second match. 3
7 Frem Attacked contests but didn’t use the ball well. 3
