2017 Season

1	WB	Pies' new set-shot momentum drainer taking over from departed Cloke. Fluffed three sitters, although atoned with three in play.	5
2	Rich	Has replaced Cloke as the momentum drainer in the Magpie attack: 0.6 from set shots this season.	3
3	Syd	On fire with a four-goal first half but then cooled off. Missed one late, but in the end, his opening barrage was huge.	7
4	StK	Early goal and stiff not to have one or two more, but kept in check by Geary. Carrying a sore arm.	4
5	Ess	Presented well and played with energy but his finishing (1.3) a frustrating momentum drainer again.	4
6	Geel	One kick in first half and six for the match. Two goals but for the most part wasn’t a huge factor.	4
7	Carl	Struggled for impact after notching Pies’ first from a free kick and nailing the set shot. Struggled to win the ball thereafter.	4
8	GWS	Went forward and presented well, although like Elliott plays as a target forward, not a pressure/front-centre player.	6
9	Haw	Playing like he needs a decent spell in the VFL. Perhaps conscious of his injured shoulder but hopelessly out of form.	2
10	Bris	Chimed in with 2.4 and could easily have kicked five in a good battle against Robertson.	6
11		Ill.
12	Melb	After week out he struggled to find the ball. Two goals but for most part wasn’t a factor that caused Dees too many issues.	4

14	Port	Looked only dangerous forward in first half with two goals. Shut down by Clurey in the second half.	4
15	Haw	Two goals in third term and another in third made him the team’s most dangerous small forward; 17 disposals.	7
16	Ess	Ended day with four goals which was a pretty solid effort given scoreline against the team.	7
17	GCS	Seemed set for a big night with two early goals. No further scores but still was dangerous.	7
18	WCE	Looks like he is enjoying his footy again. Floated in and out, but was lively and bouncy when he was in the contest. Kicked sealer.	5
19	Adel	Was well held by Luke Brown and unusually didn’t hit the scoreboard.	4
20	NM	Got Collingwood’s forward line going early by dominating Nielson early. Faded heavily as the game wore on.	6
21	Port	Not the result he was looking for in his 100th game, wasn’t clean with his hands early which affected his confidence.	4

2016 Season

1	Syd	Looked threatening early until a head knock after a big fly seemed to curtail his exuberance.	4
2	Rich	Six-goal return proved match-winning. Clean hands, timing and attack on ball brilliant.	9
3	StK	Managed two goals (after six last week) with Geary wearing him like a glove. Struggled.	3
4	Melb	Jetta wore him like a glove. To his credit he worked super hard but things didn’t fall his way.	5
5	Ess	Relished weight of ball up Pies end and ended day with four goals. Lively all day.	8
6	WCE	Did some desperate work up the field but couldn’t get shots at goal.	5
7	Carl	Probably the Pies’ best with four goals and kept them in the game. Going very well.	8
8	Bris	Kicked the last goal of the game but otherwise troubled by Gardiner’s defensive work.	5
9	Geel	Two first-term goals then Bews able to keep him goalless.	4
10	WB	Opened with a goal and in the thick of the action in first half. Shoulder in third.	5

2015 Season

1	Bris	Floated in and out of game and four of his seven kicks were ineffective.	4
2	Adel	Kicked a late goal but not a massive impact on the contest.	4
3	VFL	Shadowed by Warren and booted four key goals.	–

5	VFL	Started well but didn’t have an impact after half time.	–
6	VFL	Kicked 3.2 across half forward. Important contributor.	–
7	VFL	Slow start but played a role after half time at half forward.	–
8	GCS	Energetic return to the senior team with three goals.	6
9	NM	Creative effort at half forward. Marked well and set up numerous scores.	7
10	Melb	Had Dunn to deal with and nipped in without being a constant threat.	4
11	GWS	Quieter than last week but workrate was pretty good.	4
13	Frem	Goal in each of opening two terms then drifted out of game after half time.	6
14	Haw	Quiet early then three crucial misses in third term.	4
15	Port	Needs to make the most of his limited opportunities on goal.	5
16	WCE	Couple of errors then bagged a brilliant goal.	4

18	Melb	Collingwood’s only winner up forward. Finishing was hit and miss, however.	7

1	PM	Played a half in the midfield and got his hands on the ball.	–

3	Geel	Played half back but looked decidedly shaky at times. Will improve.	4
4	Rich	Played half back and aside from one bad error attacked and used ball well.	6
5	NM	Set side up with run and creativity from defence. Relishing freedom.	8
6	Ess	Subbed out half time after copping injury at some point in second.	1
