3   Competed fairly hard in defence and won the ball fairly well. Not the worst.  
4 PM Controlled the back half in big win over the AFL Academy. Vocal and physical.
5 VFL Very good down to back to stifle Williamstown's forwards. A debut for his new club on the horizon?
6 Syd Had Franklin at times and was superb in nullifying the champ when it was required. Couple of one-on-one wins were superb. 6
7 Coll Strong body came in handy at times to defend the Pies’ long bombs. Seven tackles a strong contribution. 6
8 StK Carlton’s new cult hero was as solid as rock in defence. Hit the packs hard and was composed with ball in hand. 7
9 Frem Strong on the air and put his body on the line. Would be pleased. 6
10 NM Shaping as the season’s best bargain pick-up. Hardly put a foot wrong in a key defensive post. Kept Waite in check. 7
