1	WCE	Has lost weight and made the most of that. Kicked three goals. Moved well.	6

3	Geel	One disposal in first half and three kicks for the game in a horror return to Simonds Stadium.	1
4	GCS	Spent more time looking for free kicks than the ball.	5
5	WB	A victim of friendly fire when colliding with Martin and was concussed. Took no further part.	2
6	Syd	Less staging and more foraging ended with a three goal haul for the small forward.	7
7	Port	In the wars all game, knocks to the knee and head, still one of the best.	7
8	Coll	Lots of energetic running but not a lot of return for effort.	5
9	Melb	Used at half back and tried hard but not often hugely damaging. Five rebound 50s.	5
10	Haw	Honest trier playing mostly in backline – 12 contested possessions, eight rebound-50s.	7

2015 Season

1	Coll	Spent most of the night in attack. Played in bursts and kicked two goals.	6
2	NM	In amongst it and showed an aggressive approach.	6
3	Rich	Inconsistent. Lions need more than his bursts of brilliance.	4
4	WCE	Possession count over-stated his worth. Only seemed to put in when it suited.	5
5	GCS	Struggled with the tempo and caught with the footy several times.	3
6	Carl	Hugely important in second half with 15 possessions and a goal.	7
7	Port	Coming good. Followed his effort against Carlton with solid performance.	7
8	Ess	Had a dirty day.	2
9	StK	Up among the better Lions players.	6
10	GWS	Great battle with Ward in midfield. Lowered colors but not disgraced.	6
12	WB	Did a few nice things including a big goal. Worked hard in second half.	6
13	Adel	Played in bursts and another who didn’t step up in final term.	5
