2014 Digest:   Tall defender who returned successfully from knee surgery and had mixed success in eight games. On the borderline of regular selection and would need to take a step forward.

2014 Season

1	Port	Picked up Gray. Couple of clangers early. Worried by the Port man’s class.	2
2		Northern Blues didn’t play.
3	VFL	OK down back without starring.	–
4	VFL	In and out of the game down back. Not his best.	–
5	VFL	Defended well and provided some good rebound.	–
6		Didn’t play for Northern Blues.
7	VFL	Defended well after Watson was injured. Fought hard.	–
8	VFL	One of the Blues best in defence. Held firm all day.	–
9	VFL	Bye.	–
10	VFL	Barely put a foot wrong early but struggled one-on-one after main break.	–
11	VFL	Bye.	–
12	VFL	Linked well on a wing. 23 possessions, eight tackles.	–
13	VFL	Best game this season down back. Defended well.	–
14	VFL	Defended well enough but didn’t provide much going forward.	–
15	VFL	Freed up at times down back and was solid enough.	–
16	VFL	Did get a lot of ball but was OK down back.	–
17	VFL	OK down back but wasn’t a major factor.	–

14	VFL	Shifted onto a rampaging Hogan and held his own in one on ones.	–
15	Coll	Had Elliott then went to Krakouer but found it a tough night.	3

7	VFL	Did a few OK things but wasn’t his day.	–
8	VFL	Struggled to get into the game.	–
10	VFL	OK for the most part but still had a few nervy times.	–
12	VFL	Easily his best game this year. Clearly the Blues best.	–
13	VFL	Battled hard down back against a weight of ball. Good.	–
14	VFL	OK performer in the back half for the Blues.	–
15	Coll	First-gamer made one bad mistake but will forever remember his debut.	4
16	NM	Youngster lined up in defence. Not an easy night for the second gamer.	2
