2015 Digest:   Consistent efforts in the VFL resulted in him breaking through for three matches at the end of the year and he found himself in demanding situations that hopefully prove to be a valuable education in defence.

2015 NAB Cup:   Stood aside for all NAB games. Needs a big season as he has been in the system for a while.

2015 Season

4	VFL	Took a massive mark and had American Cox’s measure.	–
5	VFL	Had big task on Gawn in defence and struggled with height difference.	–
6	VFL	Defended well again and was able to provide some rebound.	–
7	VFL	Among the Bombers’ better players in loss to Box Hill.	–
8	VFL	Not his best outing in defensive role.	–
9	VFL	Strong outing down back. Read the play beautifully.	–
10	VFL	Unpassable in defence with 22 touches, 10 marks.	–

20	Adel	Huge problems with Jenkins who was too big, mobile and strong.	3

2014 Season

1	PM	Started in defence and was fair.	–
2	PM	Did well drifting off Elton to provide support in defence.	–
3	VFL	OK down back but let himself down with disposal at times.	–
4	VFL	Did his bit. Took some good marks.	–
5	VFL	Used down back this week and was among the best.	–
6	VFL	Dominated the air in defence. Going well.	–
7	VFL	Beaten by Siposs, who kicked three key goals.	–
8	VFL	Bye.	–
9	VFL	Battled hard down back in a beaten Bombers team.	–
10	VFL	Got the better of his matchups in defence. Took eight marks.	–
11	VFL	13 possessions and five marks down back. Beaten by Edwards.	–
12	VFL	Bye.	–
13	VFL	Forced to take much taller opponents but didn’t give an inch.	–
14	VFL	Struggled with Featherstone (three goals) in defence.	–

1	PM	Strong game in defence. Looking fit.	–
2	VFL	Played well in a third man up role down back.	–
3	VFL	Chopped off a few Hawks attacks down back.	–
4	VFL	The best of the Bomber contingent down back. Marked well.	–
5	VFL	Had a tough day down back and was a beaten a few times.	–
6	VFL	Didn’t really catch the eye down back. Under pressure all day.	–
7	VFL	Bye.	–
8	VFL	Spent most of his time forward. Kicked a goal and was OK.	–
9	VFL	Pretty good again, this time in defence. Versatile type.	–
10		Didn’t play for Essendon VFL.
11	VFL	Matched up on the bigger Koschitzke and competed strongly.	–
12		Didn’t play for Essendon VFL.
13	VFL	Bye.	–
14	VFL	Competed well down back and outmarked a few bigger opponents.	–

17	VFL	Big task on Hogan and did a superb job keeping him to one goal.	–

1	VFL	Presented well up forward. Rewarded with three goals.	–
2	VFL	Quiet game at half forward. Goalless.	–
3	VFL	Gave them a spark at half forward when Casey threatened.	–
5	VFL	In and out of the game with minimal effect. Not his best.	–
6	VFL	OK effort when moved to defence. Showed a bit.	–
8	VFL	Impressed at times in defence. Still learning the caper.	–
10	VFL	OK at half back but looks better as a forward.	–
11	VFL	Continues to learn the craft down back. Better showing.	–
12	VFL	Possibly his best game down back.	–
16	VFL	Used the ball well by foot for most of the day.	–
17	VFL	Struggled to get into the game at either end.	–
18	VFL	Not his best game this year.	–
19	VFL	Forced to play down back due to Magpie talls. Toiled hard.	–
