2012 Digest:   Facing a crunch year after a bitterly disappointing 2011. Dropped after Round 1 he played only one more senior game for the year despite some respectable performances at VFL level. At an in-between height and without any eye-catching tricks, McKinley faces an uphill battle to unseat the likes of Edwards from the senior side. Overlooked for the NAB Cup opener.
