1 Syd Tore in hard as usual and won some footy, but delivery is haphazard. 5
2 Rich Surprise packet down back. Left man when he could, attacked the ball and played with vigour. 7
3 StK Couldn’t replicate form of previous week and was almost a non-factor. Five kicks but OK on Lonie. 3
4 Melb Kicked first goal and doing well until concussion ended his day in second term. 2

6 WCE Tried to run the ball on the big ground. Terrier-like game in backline. 5

1 NM Plenty of tackles early. Cramped up late. 4
2 Carl Lacked finishing quality at times in the front half but can’t fault his endeavour. 3
3 Haw Failed to fire a shot as a small forward. Might be due for a spell in the VFL. 2
4 Rich Hit target with all nine disposals, pressured well, but needs to find more of the footy. 4
5 Ess Didn’t get into game at all and subbed out in third term. 1
6 VFL Quiet for long periods with the odd burst. Not his best.
7 VFL Bye.
8 VFL OK at half back but had a few nervy moments.
9 VFL Struggled down back in new role opposed to Dell’Olio.
10 VFL Still learning his new role down back. Has had better days.
11 Melb Used in defence to provide some run and rebound. Will he stay in defence? 4
12 WB Matched on Dahlhaus and mostly kept the Bulldog quiet. 5
14 Port Tried hard in the midfield winning two clearances and two inside 50s. 5
15 Carl Found his range in a back pocket and dashing at times from defence. 7
16 Adel Had his hands full with Porplyzia early. 4
17 GCS Quiet start but finished off well. Used mainly in the back half. 6
18 GWS Barely sighted early but had some OK patches in the second half. 4

20 Syd Provided plenty of run as the Pies proved too slick for the home side. 5

1 Haw Threw himself in and not disgraced. Had 11 disposals but no goals. 4
2 Rich Did a couple of things but not a big impact. 4
3 Carl On early, endeavour is great, but he’s no match for classy opponents. 1
4 Port Lively at times and found a little space forward of the press. 4
5 Ess Lively late when game went up a notch and had a hand in final goal. 4
6 WB His speed close to goal was a factor. Kicked two and set up another. 6
7 Bris Did his best work in the first half when appeared to be a high half forward. 5
8 Geel Bobbed up but looked a little out of his depth in this company. 3
9 Adel Lively on occasions just lacked some polish with his execution. 5
10 GCS Made most of opportunities for three goals – good return for small forward. 6
11 Melb Two goals from three kicks in first half and ended with three from six. 6
15 Carl Subbed on in third term. Looked out of his depth after two-game break. 2
16 Geel Didn’t hit scoreboard but provided an option at times – five inside-50s. 5
18 GWS Kicked one goal but didn’t contribute much else on the night. 3
19 StK Nipped in here and there but didn’t hit scoreboard. Did have six inside-50s. 5
20 Syd It was a very quiet display from Sinclair, who finished with just eight touches. 2
21 NM Finished with 1.3 instead of 3.1. Must start making the most of chances. 4
22 WCE The sub and got smashed as soon as he came on. 1
QF Haw Defensive forward tag on Birchall worked OK. 5
PF Syd Subbed off in third term. Made early errors and looked out of his depth. 2
