2017 Season

Played for : Carlton

1	Rich	Former Cat struggled – 17 disposals. Doesn't find footy enough and doesn't impact when he does.	4
2	Melb	Did some handy things but lacked the required class at crucial moments.	5
3		Had 21 touches and laid six tackles in midfield battle after being dropped from seniors. Steady outing.
4	PM	22 touches and a goal. Worked hard on the outside to cover off exits, and got forward too.	–
5	VFL	One of the Blues' best in win over the Seagulls. Had 28 touches, six inside-50s and four score assists.	–
6	Syd	Former Cat kicked sealing goal late in game but up to that point had struggled. Disposal continues to let him down.	3
7	Coll	Can’t fault his intentions: a big smother and strong late tackle, but playing for his career.	2
8		Knee.
9	VFL	Excellent effort on the wing. Had 26 touches and seven inside 50s in the win.	–
10		Senior emergency.
11		Bye.
12	VFL	Not a massive outing, but kicked two important goals in the overall context of the game.	–
13		Senior emergency.
14	Rich	No impact in first half and run down twice. Will be sweating when Round 15 teams are announced.	3
15	VFL	Battled hard in tight in midfield/half back. Had 21 touches and laid five tackles.	–
16	VFL	One of the better Blues on the day. 24 touches, seven inside 50s and nine tackles.	–

18	VFL	Made some strong tackling efforts and was generally clean and composed around the ground.	–
19	VFL	What he did was good but wasn't enough of it. Needs to find more of the ball as an inside midfielder.	–
20	Ess	Couldn’t get near it. Five possessions for the day. Blues starting to winder why they traded for him.	1
21	WCE	A quiet night. Had 11 touches.	4
22	Haw	Concussed in the 3rd term and played no further part. Struggled before that, but still laid 8 tackles which suggests he worked hard.	3
23	Syd	Failed again to make the most of an opportunity afforded to him. Only the 8 disposals.	3

4	Syd	Quiet night and was subbed out at three-quarter time. Kicked one goal.	2
5	WB	Darted around for 15 disposals and five inside-50s. Played a role in the win.	5
6	Rich	Two set shot goals his highlight but was relatively quiet.	4
7	Ess	Again made most of opportunities to kick two goals. Does bob up.	6
8	Coll	Injured knee in first term and returned briefly but day was done.	1
9		Ankle.
10	VFL	Had 16 possessions and was a consistent contributor.	–
11	GWS	Buzzed around half forward but not a huge factor. Missed two goals.	4
13	VFL	Slow start, but got better as the game wore on. Played his part.	–
14	VFL	Worked into the game before a big final term helped seal the win.	–

1	Frem	Debutant found pace hot at times but also looked smooth at others.	4
2	Haw	Really good in third term when side was beaten. Subbed off later.	4
5	Bris	Cooled his heels until late in third term but only had two possessions.	1
6	Melb	Stats not huge but what he did had some polish about it.	4
7	Adel	Youngster at least had a willingness to take the game on. OK.	5
8	Coll	Kid found the going tough and subbed off late in third term. Might need rest.	1
10	GWS	Late inclusion for Enright, OK in the back half.	5
11	VFL	One of the Cats best against Port. Ran hard.	–
13	VFL	Used on a wing and showed his versatility.	–
14	Port	Probably best game for the club. Played with some dash and poise.	6
15	GCS	Busy playing predominantly up forward he was busy enough – faded late.	5
16	Coll	Really battled up forward playing defensively then sent back later.	3
17	Ess	Best effort in short career. Kicked three goals and worked well up forward.	6
18	Adel	Chimed in with a goal and four inside-50s. Starting to find his feet at this level.	5
19	Haw	Starting to look a player. Made a key play to set up Hawkins' fifth goal late.	6
22	WB	Didn’t get into the game at all after being subbed on and quarter-time.	1
