Dream Team Profile

2014 Digest:   Despite niggling injuries in his first year at the Lions he showed glimpses of the form that saw him win Melbourne’s 2011 best and fairest. Trained well and will benefit greatly if Leuenberger can play a full season in the ruck.

2014 NAB Cup:   Starred to grab 34 disposals and eight clearances in final hit-out against Swans. Ready to fire.

2012 Season

Played for : Melbourne

1 Bris Not a big factor – 12 disposals.. 3
4 WB Important in third quarter revival. Plenty of contested ball. 6
5 StK String game in middle all night. 7
6 Geel Rarely allowed space or time to hurt the Cats through the middle. 5
7 Haw OK in bursts but Melbourne needs more from players like him. 4
8 Syd Strong in the contests but could not break free and influence minimal. 4
9 Carl No impact and looked slow at times. Doesn’t really look interested. 3
10 Ess Strong at the contest all the way. Better at half forward and made big impact. 6
11 Coll Plugged away in the middle but well beaten by his counterparts. 4
13 GWS Only five kicks and four clearances so numbers well down on what he can do. 4
14 Bris Desperately out of form and looks bound for Casey. 4
15 Rich Subbed on midway through the third term but gave zilch. 1
16 VFL Had 20 touches, 12 clearances. OK without being great.
18 NM Gets a lot of it but some of his kicking choices makes you scratch your head. 5
19 GCS Struggled in the first half but lifted to grab 16 second-half disposals. 6
20 StK Couldn’t put an imprint on the game and subbed off. 2
21 VFL was good enough to get in the best six
