2015 NAB Cup:   Looking very fit and did a good job on Petrie in the North game and was never troubled by the young Saints forwards.

14 Coll Matched up on Cloke and beaten but didn’t pay for it because of inaccuracy. 3

16 Syd Worked against a variety of opponents and had all of them covered. 6
17 Carl Did what he like opposed to Jones who posed no threat at all. 7
18 Rich Looked a little sluggish when the ball hit the ground. Not his best game. 3

QF Geel Took Hawkins and kept him quiet for most of the night. Impressive effort. 7
PF Port Schultz started to get away from him, but didn’t make him pay. 4
GF Syd Physical style curbed Tippett and apart from couple of “Brian moments” was good. 7

2013 Season

Played for : Hawthorn

1   Quad.  
2 VFL Got through a full game at full back. 13 possessions.
3 VFL Best game yet in Hawks defence. Ready to go.
4 VFL Solid in defence before being swung forward late.
5 NM Matched on Daw and Petrie and didn’t let them have it all their own way. 5
6 Adel Had the job on McKernan and kept him goalless. 7
7 Syd Mopped up well as the last line defender. Getting better each week. 7
8 GWS Had key job on Cameron for a while. Nothing exceptional. 4
9 GCS Started on Lynch and had to cover plenty of ground. 5
10 Melb Steady down back and got better the longer the game went. Used footy well. 7
12 Carl Grabbed five contested marks and pivotal after half time down back. 7
13 WCE Took resting ruckman and did a fine job as the third man up. Finding his feet. 7
14 Bris Matched on Brown and did well early but Lion still bagged four. 5
15 Geel Had Hawkins covered and a key in getting side back into game in third. 7
16 Port Kept Schulz to one goal and repelled many Power attacks. 6
17 WB Playing against his old side, kept Jones out of the contest. 5
18 Ess Had Hurley covered until final term when he kicked two on him. 5
19 Rich Had to go to Riewoldt early then went back to McGuane. Steady effort. 6
20 StK Did a professional job on young Lee. 6
21 Coll Cloke looked like tearing him apart early, but the Magpie’s supply dried up. 5
22 NM Superb performance on Petrie in second half. Combining superbly with Hodge. 6
23 Syd Made some clangers early but stiff to be penalised for push. Late goal. 4
QF Syd On back foot early and had fumbles in first half. Then ran Tippett around. 5
PF Geel Matched with Hawkins who troubled him at times. Overall OK. 5
GF Frem Matched on Pavlich and had a great day to lead defence and win Norm Smith. 8

2012 Season

Played for : Western Bulldogs

1 WCE Only eight possessions and coach wouldn’t play him on Kennedy. 2
2 Adel Slowly returning to the form that made him an All Australian fullback. 6
3 StK On Koschitzke for most of the night. Batted on. 5
5 GWS Welcome sight back in defence, rebounded well. 6
6 Coll Did a superb job on Cloke and his vintage form set up Bulldogs for a chance. 8
7 NM Second great game in consecutive weeks. Beat Petrie. 8
8 GCS Continued his rebirth down back. Plenty of interceptions. 7
9 Geel Top battle with Hawkins who kicked three (two when Lake not marking him). 6
10 Syd Started game reasonably well, but fell in a heap as Sydney piled on the goals. 3
12 Port Had task on Schulz (three goals) but he gave great drive and provided poise. 7
13 Bris Took the honours in battle with Brown in one of few Dog victories. 7
14 Ess Rebounded OK at times, but Hurley led him to the ball. 5
15 Frem Took strong marks defensively and gave the team hope. 7
16 Haw Great battle with Roughead who kicked both goals in final term. Tried hard. 6
17 Carl Splendid display at full-back. Easily side’s most important player. 7
18 StK Riewoldt had three on him 10 minutes in. 4
19 NM Took Petrie (five goals) in marquee duel. Weight of ball against him. 4
20 Rich Rotated forward and back and was solid enough in both roles – two goals. 6
21 Syd Mostly forward and while he took 11 marks few were in dangerous spots. 5
23 Bris Started at full forward. No goals and 12 touches for the day! 4
