2016 Digest:   Has done summer work with the forward group after playing most of his senior footy as a defender. Impresses coaches as a dedicated trainer who gives himself every chance to succeed.

2016 NAB Cup:   Saints like his desperation and have tried to make him a forward. Yet to prove the point.

2016 Season

Played for : St Kilda

1   Played in VFL trial against Box Hill Hawks.  
2   Played in VFL trial against Williamstown.  
3 VFL Helped steady the Zebs across half back. Needs to find a consistent role now.
4 VFL. Bye.
5 VFL Did his bit in VFL win over Footscray with 23 possessions at good efficiency.
6 VFL Battled away. Did some handy things in the win.
7 VFL Benefitted from some fine play up the field to end with three goals.
8 VFL Worked hard in the front half and was rewarded with three goals.
9 VFL Werribee did a solid job of keeping him contained in attack.
10 VFL Bye.
11 VFL Good game with 21 possessions, three rebounds and two inside-50s.
12 VFL Not his best outing but still battled hard when ball was in his area.
13 VFL Bye.
14 VFL Steady with 17 possessions, but his three goals were vital.
15 VFL Ran hard both ways and set up several of Zebras’ goals.
16 VFL Sandringham’s most prolific forward with 3.3.
17   Senior emergency.  
18 VFL Kicked two goals, including a Goal of the Year contender and worker hard.
19 VFL Eight marks and six inside-50s, but sprayed shots for goal to end with 1.4.
20 VFL Made the most of his chances in attack with six goals from 10 touches.
21 VFL Keeps kicking goals adding another bag of four. Worth one more chance at AFL level?
22 VFL Dangerous again in attack with three goals. Missed a few gettable ones too.
23 VFL Again the most dangerous forward for the Zebras with three goals.

2015 Season

Played for : St Kilda

1 GWS Picked up Palmer and started well. 5
2 GCS Possibly his best game, and excellent in opening half hour in defence. 6
3 Coll Toiled hard in his defensive role. 4
4 Carl Lively start bobbing up in attack then faded. 5
5   Senior emergency.  
6 VFL OK down back but Casey’s poor ball use helped him out.
7 Adel Started as the sub and was good once introduced in the first term. 5
8 WCE Had his hands full with Hill and conceded frees. 3
9 Bris No question on his commitment as he give everything down back. But delivery! 4
10 Haw Tried hard but outgunned by Gunston. 4
11 Melb Matched on Pedersen initially and neither had an impact. 4
13 VFL Used in attack and was a handy contributor with two goals.
14 VFL Kicked a goal and had 14 touches but not at his best.
15   Ill.  
16 VFL Returned to defence and was fair.
17 VFL Solid enough without being a standout.
18 VFL Bye.
19 VFL Influential perfomer with two goals and 28 possessions.
20 VFL Good two-way game in defence and pressing forward.
21 Geel Outclassed by ageing Johnson and ended up on forward line in final term. 2
22 VFL Chimed in with a goal and was handy at times.
23 VFL OK at times with 20 touches.

2014 Season

Played for : St Kilda

1 PM Used up forward and had a solid game.
2 PM Killed them down back. Great rebounding.
3 VFL One of the Zebras best with 24 touches and a goal.
4 VFL Did well defensively and chipped in with two goals.
5 VFL Solid effort again. Handy player at this level.
6 VFL One of the best again for the Zebras in win over Casey.
7 VFL Continued his consistent form with 20 touches.
8 Carl Picked up Robinson early. Had no real impact. 3
9 GCS Ran well off half-back and had his best game so far. 6
11 Coll Often the spare in defence and had his best game so far. 7
12 Port Had a few different roles and form again encouraging. 5
13 Geel Showed some spirit and was willing to run from half back. 5
14 WCE Testing job on LeCras and did some good things. Helped by Eagle inaccuracy. 5
15 Rich Taking on role of spare in defence or minding small forwards. Nice goal. 6
16 Carl Worked hard and showed willingness to run through the lines. 5
17 NM Surprise that he was sub. Came on and handy in final term. 2
18 Frem Late inclusion as sub and straight into it when Dempster down. OK. 4
19   Senior emergency.  
20 VFL OK without being a star. 21 touches and 0.2.
21 Syd Sub came on and git involved. Worth a spot in starting 21. 2
22 Rich Matched on Petterd. Spirited effort but not big stats. 4
23 Adel Didn’t have a major say in the match. 3
QF VFL Struggled to get into the game – just 12 touches.

2013 Season

Played for : St Kilda

1 PM One of the more impressive Saints-listed players.
2   Vanilla-type performance for the Zebras.  
3 VFL Reasonable effort across half back.
4 VFL Played at half back and had his moments.
5 VFL Kicked three goals at half forward to be among Zebras best.
6 VFL Kicked a goal and played his bit when required.
7 VFL Bye.
8 VFL Chipped in with three goals and presented strongly.
9 VFL Bye.
10 VFL Played at half forward again and wasn’t able to get into the game.
11 VFL Fair but didn’t have the impact the Zebras needed to push Essendon.
12 VFL Kicked a goal and played his role across half forward.
13 VFL Didn’t have the impact required in big loss to the Dolphins.
14 VFL Had 15 touches and tackled hard across half forward.
15 VFL Bye.
16 VFL Played as a defensive forward and tackled, harassed well.
17 VFL Very good display with 28 possessions and two goals.
18 VFL Impressed in return to defence with 28 touches.
19 VFL Matched up on Crameri and did a fine job. 32 possessions too.
20 VFL Continued his good recent form with 23 disposals in defence.
21   Senior emergency.  
22 GCS First game defender showed dash early. Subbed off injured in third term. 2

2012 Season

Played for : St Kilda

1 VFL Booted two goals and moved well.
2 VFL Only the one goal but was ineffective.
4 VFL Failing to have the same impact he did in the SANFL.
5 VFL Quiet game again. Finding the VFL a tough ask at present.
7 VFL No impact forward but was OK down back.
8 VFL Continues to find the going tough as this level.
13 VFL Started well but faded a bit. Had 11 possessions and 2.3.
14 VFL Really were not good enough
16 VFL Played at both ends and did OK.
17 VFL Not major factor.
19 VFL Enjoying a decent run of form. Good effort again.
20 VFL Did a great job shadowing Krakouer.
21 VFL Opposed to Hooper and had his hands full.
22 VFL Played down back and was influential in the first half.
23 VFL One of the Zebras best in defence. Has found his home.
