2013 Digest:   In what looms as his final season, the former premiership star still adds great experience and leadership. He has played a big part in the progression of many of his younger teammates but knee and shoulder surgeries over summer had him in the rehab group and set for a delayed start.

2013 NAB Cup:   Had multiple off-season surgeries and is yet to resume full training.

1	Syd	Hardened body put to good use in defence. On Goodes, did well.	6
2	NM	Started as extra man in defence and general. Read play well and stood up.	7
3	WCE	Did a decent job on Lynch and rebounded well from defence.	6
4	Adel	Gets white line fever every time he sees a Crows jumper.	4
7	GCS	Very solid in defence. Reads play better than most repelling many GC attacks.	7
8	Bris	Toiled hard but constantly under siege.	6
9	Ess	Spent most of game on the ground, but hands full with the tall forwards.	5
10	Geel	Used forward with some success early but in the end impact dissipated.	5
12	Rich	Threw himself in and had a presence for his team – seven rebound 50s.	7
14	Syd	Stood strong in the GWS backline and has plenty of footy left in him.	7
15	Haw	Kicked Giants’ first goal in his 250th, alternated through both ends all game.	5
16	Adel	With 24 touches, 10 marks and a goal, he keeps winding back the clock.	7
19	Port	Another who shone against his old side, including a vital goal in the last term.	6
20	GCS	The veteran did well and mopped up in defence.	7
