2017 Season

1 StK Effective contribution off half back and played his part. 6
2 Carl Arguably his best senior game for the club and finally looks to be fit and ready to show why he was a top pick. 8
3 Geel Found the footy out of the back half and used it to advantage of teammates. Really developing as a quality rebounder. 7
4 Frem Steady at half back for three quarters but injected into midfield in final term and nearly won Dees the game with his ball use. 7
5 Rich Started in centre square and was generally smart with ball in hand. Drifted out of the game late when Tigers charged. 5
6 Ess Turned the ball over a bit early on, but steadied after half time and became a handy distributor. 5
7 Haw Well below his best and never able to find space to hurt the Hawks with his skill and guile. 4
8 Adel Found plenty of footy and hit the target with most of them – especially in the second half. 7
9 NM Couldn’t find enough ball (13 disposals) to be of concern to the Roos. One goal but well down on his best. 4
10   Suspended.
11   Bye.
12 Coll Up and down day off half back. Started well, then struggled. Final 40mins back to his composed best. 7
13 WB Rarely wasted a possession and kicked a beautiful long goal in the third term. Good outing again. 7
14 WCE Injured his hamstring and missed the final term. 4

18 Port Back from injury and was good with his ball use – kicked it at 92 per cent. 7
19 NM Clean with most things he did at half back but then was a bit of a spectator. 5
20 GWS A few defensive efforts lacked intensity. Didn’t use ball as well as he can. Injured leg in third term, but came back on. 4
21 VFL Got back to some genuinely combative footy. Got booked for a high bump though.
22   Suspended.
23 Coll Handy enough on return to the team, but might be looked at for open-hand push to Adams’ chin. 6

2016 Season

1 GWS Steady at half back and won a vital one-one-one in last quarter that lead to a goal. 6
2 Ess Quieter than he has been at half back. Wasn’t able to orchestrate attacks from defence. 4
3 NM Showed class off half back and rarely made a mistake with ball in hand. 6
4 Coll Swept across half back to play his role. Got a calmness about the way he plays. 6
5 Rich Progressing brilliantly as a quarterback type. Great battle with Lloyd but more than held his own. 6
6 StK Heavy head knock saw him ruled out after failing concussion test. 5
7   Concussion.
8 WB Did what he could at half-back with run and rebound. Developing well as a player. 6

2015 Season

1 GCS Not prominent at half back but good when needed one on one. 6
2 GWS One of just a few to stand up under pressure down back and used the ball fairly well. 7
3 Adel Classy back flanker didn’t panic under trying conditions. 5
4 Rich Kept his head at half back with ball in air and on ground. Growing as a player. 6
5 Frem Started well before being subbed with delayed concussion from Taberner knock. 3
6 Syd Best game so far running off half back. A few errors but impressive night. 7
7 Haw Subbed out in first half with a hamstring issue. 1

21 Carl Looked rusty in first senior game in months. Better for the run. 4
22 Frem Not a massive impact despite having 20 disposals. 5
23 GWS Showed how much the Dees missed him at half back with kicking and cool head. 7

2014 Season

1   Casey Scorpions didn’t play.
2   Casey Scorpions didn’t play.

5 VFL Had it 37 times and barely wasted a touch. A star in the making.
6 Syd Sub. On for Jetta and immediately showed class with ball in hand. 2
7 Adel Started as sub and kicked a sublime goal on his left foot in the first term. 2
8 WB Sub. On for Terlich in third term. Everything he did was clean. 2
9 Rich Had little impact with his eight disposals. 3
11 Port Every touch was sparkling and was involved in the majority of the Dees goals. 6
12 Coll Looked tired and lacked his usual zip. 3
13 Ess Sub. On for Riley and instantly added class. Smothers, pressure and winning goal. 3
14 NM Subbed out in third term after just a few touches. Looked tired. 1
15 WB Barely sighted for the second straight week. Tried, but nothing went his way. 3
