2 NEAFL Good ball-winner with 25 possessions in Lions' win over the Swans.
3 NEAFL Very good in Lions' win. 30 touches, four inside-50s and six rebounds. Put hand up for a recall.
4 Rich Took a couple of contested grabs in defence and used his strength well. 6
5 WB Copped a knock in third term but kept battling. One goal in second term put side 37 points in front. 5
6 Port Did not stop trying all night and gathered 22 possessions to go with a goal. 7
7 Syd Not big numbers but did some good hard things in first half. Disappeared from contest after main break. 4
8 Haw Shocker for his 50th game. Had just nine disposals but managed to turn it over five times. 2
9 Adel Had only a few touches before sustaining a hamstring injury. 3

12 NEAFL Huge outing and one of the main reasons the Lions won. 29 touches, three score assists.
13 NEAFL Steady showing in massive win. 19 possessions and had a hand in quite a few scores.
14 NEAFL Strong ball winner in midfield with 28 touches and five inside 50s.
15 NEAFL Going well until copping a leg injury and sitting out the rest of the game.

18 NEAFL Monster effort through the middle with 32 disposals. Added six clearances and got plenty of outside ball.
19 NEAFL Elite foot skills all game. However, even at this level, you can see his lack of speed.
20 NEAFL Good contributor with 22 touches and six inside 50s.
21 GCS Ran hard to create goals as well scoring one himself. Starting to have an impact now he is injury free. 6
22 Melb Going okay until copped big hit from Vince in second term and while returned he struggled for the remainder; 14 disposals. 4
23 NM Began the game very well and was a handy component for the team. 5

2016 Season

1 WCE A late inclusion. Copped a knock and didn’t do much after half-time. 3
2 NM Booted a goal and tried to keep the ball locked in the 50. 4
3 Geel Used at half back but couldn’t get hands to ball enough to influence flow of the game. 3
4 GCS Low stats belie his worth. Kept Ah Chee quiet. 6
5 WB Used in the back half and wasn’t able to get hands on ball despite Dogs inside 50 dominance. 4
6 Syd Got plenty of game time but not a lot of the ball. 4
7 Port Struggled to keep up with Neade and Impey. 4
8 Coll Three of his six disposals were ineffective. Stats speak for themselves. 3
9   Groin.  
10   Back from injury and was a strong ball-winner all game with 26 touches.  
11 NEAFL Had 21 touches in midfield. Tried hard but unable to get much going.
12 NEAFL Unable to get his hands on the ball as much as he’d like. 18 touches.
13 WCE Commitment came into question at one marking contest. Average. 5
14   Senior emergency.

16 NEAFL Turned the ball over a bit but worked hard in midfield for 26 touches.
17 NEAFL Had no issues finding ball, but needed to be more polished by foot.
18 NEAFL In and out of game before injuring knee in big loss to Southport.

17 WCE Had time on a wing but was ok. Subbed out in third term. 5

19 Melb Kicked the first goal but from then, was unable to get into the game consistently. 3
20 NEAFL Started superbly before being tagged. Off at three quarter time.
21 Coll If he could stay fit he’d be a real weapon. Dangerous when got near ball. 6
22 Frem After going missing in first half, finished solidly. 5
23 Geel Two goals but generally struggled and injured himself late. 4

2 Carl Battled to back up last week’s Rising Star effort and mostly struggled. 2

8 NEAFL Got another game under his belt after injury layoff.
10 NEAFL Battled hard and got another game under his belt.
12 NEAFL Won a stack of ball and gave the Lions great drive.
13 NEAFL Did alot of hard in and under work. One of the Lions best.
14 NEAFL Kicked five goals and had a truckload of ball.
15 Syd Late inclusion after Simon Black’s injury in the warm-up and had little impact. 2
16 NEAFL Strong performer around the stoppages.
17 NEAFL Didn’t hit the scoreboard but worked hard up forward.
18 NEAFL Strong showing in the midfield. Instrumental late.
19 NEAFL Impressed again with 26 disposals, seven tackles.
20 Carl Kicked two nice goals after subbing on. Should be enough to get full game. 3
21 Adel Did a couple of things late in the game which came under notice. 5
22 Port Instigated the fight back in the final term to get the four points. 6
23 WB In the thick of it from the start. Great finish to his second season. 7
SF NEAFL Won a lot of ball, used it well. Four goals capped day.
