2017 Season

1 Syd Youngster got a taste of what's required at senior level and importantly had a few key disposals late. 4
2 Frem 10 rebound-50’s out of the Port Adelaide’s back fifty highlighted his second game performance. 6
3 Adel Wasn’t overawed by the occasion and played well across halfback. 5
4 GWS One of the shining lights. Defended well and won the ball in the back half. Looks a likely type. 7
5 Carl Given the task of playing on his best mate Jack Silvagni and beat him. 6
6 Bris Quiet game, though was efficient with his 14 possesions (90%). 3
7 WCE Had the tough match up on Mark Le Cras, will learn from the experience. 3
8 SANFL Bye.
9 SANFL Chalked up 21 possessions and looked good in backline.
10 SANFL Instrumental in third-term comeback with his pack marking and piercing long kicks.
11   Hip.
12 SANFL One of 13 Port players to pick up more than 20 touches in landslide demolition of the Bloods.
13 Bris Back in the team after some strong form in the SANFL and had five rebound-50’s. 6
14 Coll Youngster played role down back. Only 13 possessions but what he did was done with an element of class. 4
15 Rich Great find for the Power this season, reads the game well and isn’t afraid to put his head over the footy when needed. 6
16 WCE Sold effort. Did a defensive job and had 19 possessions. 5
17 NM Was serviceable in defence and swept up any loose ball his bigger teammates knocked to ground. 6
18 Melb Not as good as he was early in the year in defence and only hit the target by foot 50 per cent of the time. 4
19   Bye.
20 SANFL Impressed across half-forward with a magnificent boundary-line goal and some quality link work.
21 Coll Kicked his first ever AFL goal after receiving a fortunate 50 metre penalty. 6
22 WB Popped shoulder in first quarter in tackle by McLean. Returned though and rarely wasted a possession. 6
23 GCS Great bit of instinctive play in the second term where he picked a loose ball and kicked truly from 45 metres out. 6
EF WCE Steady enough in back half. Had 18 touches. 6
