2017 Season

1 Carl Added bulk to his frame and he was lively when around the ball. Two goals and three tackles. 5
2 Coll Worked hard between the 50-metre lines. Pace was a factor – this guy is becoming a player. 5
3 WCE Quiet game on paper, but did some special things in the game, main one being the Goal of the Year contender in the third 5
4 Bris Had only 10 disposals and yet returned two goals and a couple of scoring assists. Pure quality over quantity. 7
5 Melb Booted one goal, but copped an early knock and didn’t have his normal influence when the ball hit the deck in attack. 3
6 Adel Big first term with two goals but come off a little worse for wear after his fair shepherd on Jake Kelly. 6
7 WB Very active at ground level at start but virtually disappeared after half- time. 3
8 Frem Looked off early in game but found range in final term to help side get back into the game; 14 disposals. 5
9 GWS Only the 11 possessions, but most of his touches led to Tiger scores. 7
10 Ess Hardly sighted in opening half (one kick) and similar second apart from one great tackle on Baguley. 3
11 NM Slow start but ended up having an impact with a goal from nine kicks. For a young player he’s progressing well. 4
12   Bye.
13 Syd Showed some glimpses with some strong efforts, but also had a few that he’d want back. 4
14 Carl Missed a few chances in first term. Hurt finger in third quarter, but that was about it. 3
15 Port Just the six disposals but slotted a beautiful goal on the run late in the third term after composing himself on goal. 3
16 StK Wasn't sighted in attack, or rolling off the back of the square. 2
17 Bris Quiet for long periods but bobbed up with some dynamic touches opposed to Cox. 5
18 GWS Got side going with team’s opening goal in second term. Not really great conditions for a player still very light on. 3
19 GCS Booted first three goals for Tigers and was damaging early. Kept Tigers in the contest early. 7
20 Haw Started well which was important. Faded a tad but handy effort from the second-year Tiger. 5
21 Geel Third quarter goal was a highlight. But like his partners in crime, he rarely fired a shot. 3
22 Frem Helped others to play well and kicked a goal. 5
23 StK Lively at times early but petered out after copping a knock to the ribs. Didn’t kick a goal. 3
QF Geel Small forward didn’t have a kick in the opening half but got involved a few times after main break. No goals from three kicks. 3
PF GWS Booted four big goals to be the game-breaker alongside Martin. Has more tricks than David Copperfield. 9
GF Adel Workrate good and offered something without starring. 11 disposals but no goals. 5

2016 Season

1 Carl Great chase down on Tuohy in second term and showed a bit in the few touches he had. 3
2   Leg.
3 Adel Two smart second half goals but was rather quiet or much of the afternoon. 4
4 WCE To score two goals was a good effort given the lack of supply. 5
5 Melb Great experience for the kid but moments when he shone were rare. No inside-50s and no goals. 2
6 Port Didn’t touch leather in first quarter and just one by half time. Did some nice things late. 3
7 Haw Minor role but shows glimpses of real flair. 5
8 Syd Barely sighted before lighting the MCG up with two final term goals. 4
9   Personal leave.
10 Ess Kid found going tough. Set up one Riewoldt goal but copped knock late and looked sore. 2
11 NM Flashed in occasionally but not a major contributor by any means. 2
12 GCS Quiet day in front half. Burst in a few times but little impact. 2
14   Personal leave.
15 VFL Worked hard (12 tackles) but wasn’t overly influential in an attacking sense.
16 WB Rarely sighted apart from a couple of bursts. Great experience for the kid. 2
17 Ess Came into the game more as it progressed. Had a hand in quite a few Tiger scores. 5
18 Haw Three kicks for one goal. Kid was quiet but another that just needs to play. 2
19 GWS Presented well up forward (seven marks), but needed to provide more defensive pressure. 4
20 Coll One goal was superb and his work-rate enormous. Glimpse of his future. 5
21 Geel Two of his four kicks were goals. All great experience for the kid. 4
22 StK One of more damaging Tigers. Dangerous when he went near it for two goals. 7
23 Syd Quiet night – six of his 10 touches came in opening term. 3
