2016 Digest:   Delisted and re-rookied after a potential trade didn’t come to fruition. Has been a handy performer since joining the Suns as an unheralded recruit in season one. Needs a big year to reach the hallowed 100-game mark and continue his career beyond 2016.

2016 NAB Cup:   Elevated to the senior list as the nominated rookie. Will need a big year though to continue career past 2016.

1 Rich Blue-collar worker in midfield. Played his part without starring. 5

3 Bris Solid contribution who burrowed in at the stoppages. 5

5 Melb Five inside-50s, nine contested possessions, four tackles kept him involved. 6
6 GWS Evergreen veteran keeps getting it done. 6
7 NM Used down back at stages to help Suns tall defenders and battled away well. 5
9 StK In defence spent time on Siposs and was steady. 5
10 WB Played on Stevens in defence and stuck to his task rather well. 6
11 Adel Injured his shoulder late in the game. 6
12 Syd Given a lesson in contested footy by Kennedy. 3

1   Groin.  
2 NEAFL Returned from groin injury, got though OK.
3 NEAFL Toiled hard, working back to full fitness.
4 NEAFL Very good in second game back. Three goals.
5 GWS Very strong finish to the game after slow start. Strong kicking a feature 6
6 Frem Looked a bit slow across the park at times, but knows how to get the footy. 6
7 Melb Ran free for long periods and helped form a wall the Dees couldn’t break. 6
8 WB Underrated player who just gets the job done week in, week out. 6
9 Haw Good in second half. 5
10 Geel Solid all night. Won hard footy, ran hard and gave his teammates a lift. 7
11 NM Composed with the footy and his experience in defence is pivotal. 6
12 Ess Given the task on Watson and stuck to it well despite Bombers control of game. 6
14 Adel Used through the midfield and in defence to good effect. 6
15 Bris Honest but only two behinds from as many scoring shots was not enough. 5
16 Rich Industrious at times and put his body on the line but not his best outing. 5
17 Coll Keeps getting the job done across half back. 6
18 Carl Provided good link between attack and defence. 6
19 WCE Resourceful in first half but tapered. 5

2012 Season

1 NEAFL Worked hard, ended with two goals. One of the best.
2 NEAFL Kicked two goals in his last game of club suspension.
5 NEAFL Got valuable game time coming back from injury.
6 NEAFL First full game for a while, good presence around the footy.
7 NEAFL Back to some good form and should press for selection.
8 WB Good return to the senior side. 28 possessions at half forward a nice return. 7
9 Port Had the better of Pfeiffer to end up with 25 touches. 6
10 Coll Tried his guts out but often under pressure and forced to crab sideways. 5
11 StK Kept going all day and one of the better Suns players. 6
12 NM Accumulated plenty of the footy and continues his fine season. 7
14 WCE Good in the clinches. Won the hard ball and had 30 possessions. 7
15 Geel Thrown all over the place and did what he could all day in a positive display. 7
16 Rich Good contributor again but will miss a few weeks after hit on Riewoldt. 6
18 Syd Played on Goodes for a fair part and had his measure. 7
20 GWS A little wasteful with the footy, but was a good contributor. 7
21 Haw Consistent game again and one of the better Suns. 6
22 Carl Continued his fine season with another super effort in defence. 8
23 Adel Great at rebounding the footy out of defence on five occasions. 7
