1 Haw Showed class and poise running off a wing to end with 25 touches. No early signs of second-year blues. 7
2 Bris Came off the bench to chalk up 17 disposals although only two in the last term when the game was in the balance. 6
3 Carl Stats sheet shows 22 disposals but he wasn’t effective as some in tough conditions. 5
4 Adel Five clearances and five rebound-50’s, played well between the 50 metre arcs. 6
5 Coll Off the interchange as part of the second midfield rotation and used his incisive kicking well 7
6 Melb Kicked first Bombers goal but then was a spectator for long periods. Had to provide enthusiasm, but didn’t. 3
7 Frem Solid in the midfield with 18 touches and he ran. 6
8 Geel Youngster did his bit when it was required. Game highlighted by six tackles and 14 effective disposals. 7
9 WCE Played a bit across half forward. Was clean in most things he did and provided a link. 5
10 Rich Youngster won 24 disposals but influence wasn’t as pronounced as the numbers would suggest. 5

14 VFL Put hand up for a senior recall with 27 possessions in a great win over Williamstown.
15 Bris Back in the side and did some good work in second half. 5
16 Coll Youngster relished free flowing nature of game to grab his share of the ball; 28 possessions, four inside-50s and three tackles. 7
17 StK Had trouble finding it in first hour and only marginally improved later. 3
18 NM His 23 touches were evenly split between kicks and handballs, contested and uncontested. 6
19 WB Kicked Bombers’ first goal and was busy in midfield. Can hold his head high. 7
20 Carl Eight disposals in first half and lifted in second half to have 245. Influence not huge but worked hard to be involved. 6
21 Adel Not a big impact. 3
22 GCS Played the full game and was a good four quarter contributor. 5
23 Frem Had some handy possessions when the heat was on in the final quarter. 5
EF Syd Kid tried his guts out in a game in which he side was well beaten; 21 disposals, eight clearances. 6

2016 Season

1 GCS Tremendous debut. Shining light on a tough day. 7
2 Melb Rising star showcased his talents. Clinical finisher and a knack for finding space all over the field. 7
3 Port Given the football lesson to run with Wines, and will be better for it. 5
4 Geel Kid had his moments and won a team-high 14 contested possessions which is quite amazing. 7
5 Coll Found the going tough in the first half, but tried valiantly after the main interval. 4
6 Carl Kid found the going tough. Might be time for a well-earned rest after a solid five weeks. 2
7   Rested.  
8 NM Polished effort again through the middle. Creativity and impact noticeable compared to some. 7
9 StK Quick hands and had unusual figures of two kicks and 18 handballs. A lot of solid work inside. 4
10 Rich Kid continues to impress. One ripping left-foot goal and when he got it good things happened. 7
11 Frem Continued his development with another good effort. 5
12 Haw Very prominent in Dons’ lively start and a real player of the future. Finds the ball. 7
13 GWS Kid struggled to impact the game and will be looking forward to the week’s rest. 3
15 WCE Similar to most games. Good at times. Only 13 touches. 4
16 StK Did plenty of good work as on-baller and is benefitting from game time. 6
17 Rich Back after a week off with suspension and closely watched by Hunt and lacked regular impact. 4
18 Bris Worked hard in and around the contests and relished taking on old mate Mathieson. 6
19 Adel A costly 50m penalty in the second term gifted the Crows a goal. 7
20 Geel Great game from the kid. Ran hard to link through the middle of the ground – five clearances. 7
21   Rested.  
22 WB Did some nice polished work at times. 5
23 Carl Led his team in tackles and classy around the stoppages. 7
